If creating the theme from “Mission:Impossible” wasn’t enough, four years later he comes up with this jammin’ jazz funk masterpiece!! Lalo is absolutely amazing!!
When I was 5, I was totally freaked out by this song. Now I'm about 6 weeks away from 51, and now this joint psyches me up! The bass line, the Hammond... everything about this. I'm still on the fence about the synth recreating the sound of the siren. Just because you can doesn't necessarily mean that you should.
THOUGHT YOU MIGHT APPRECIATE IT. I LOST MY COPY THAT I RECORDED ON A CASSETTE TAPE FROM A FRIEND'S VINYL RECORD A LONG TIME AGO. YOUR TUNE REMINDED ME OF IT, SO SEARCHED AND FOUND THE CORRECT VERSION ON THE THIRD TRY. ALTHOUGH THE ORIGINAL TV SHOW VERSION IS GOOD AS WELL. LALO IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREATS.
Sad to hear about the death of Chad Everett, he died late last night from lung cancer, had the chance to Chad a little, he was a nice guy around me, ashamed to hear about this, RIP Chad.
@@RayanTelleria The Moog was monophonic, and you hear it playing its notes through this. Listen at :46 seconds. You hear the Moog carrying the melody, and then the chords of the Hammond. And then at :59 seconds, that ain't no mono Moog.

NOBODY can write a TV theme song like Lalo. He is the undisputed king!
60s and 70s TV themes were some of the best jazz charts ever written.
I think Lalo Schifrin has never written a bad song, theme song or movie soundtrack in his entire life.
The medical field couldn't have gotten funkier😎!!!!
Most excellent!!!... and one of Lalo's best!
I love Mannix and MISSION: Impossible themes
In tv history Only h5o surpasses this theme 🎉
He did THIS too? Wonderful!
Lalo Schifrin did another Masterful score. For another Great tv show.
Great theme song for a great show - I'd love to have this as my ringtone!
I met Lalo in 2009 and he joined my agency's roster in 2009. Cool guy.
I collect these jams, thanks!
Lalo was the man!

BOSS
Rockin ! lol
Cool stuff, but where is the great brass cold ending heard on the TV show?
A friend of mine pointed out that the words "Medical Center" fit the rhythm of that part exactly!
Yeah, doesn’t match the original- missing that secondary climax closing
That sounds like a wailing Hammond B3--but whatever it was, awesome.
ToyKingWonder moog
