    Hi, I’m excited about the result of your experiment. Could U please tell me the exact type of magnaflow part? 🙏
    I have got GT 2020 with Kooks long tube headers with factory exhaust, and despite this I am solving the same problem like you. Thank you for this video👍

    New 2022 Mach1 HP owner here. Im thinking about my Active Exhaust options to comply with racetracks that have noise restrictions. One of the options Im considering is replacing the stock resonator with two Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator bottles. Other option is keeping stock resonator and trying to fit regular Vibrant resonators behind it. Last option is an H-pipe combined with ultraquiet vibrants. Magnaflow mufflered x-pipe looks like a great all-in-one option as well. Although I love the stock sound, I want to avoid getting kicked out of HPDE events when I use the Mach1 at W.O.T. Ive read that some M1 HP owners just pulled the AE fuse while the engine is running in AE quiet or normal mode, before pitting out on the track. Any suggestions?

      My buddy has a gt350 with resonator delete and active exhaust and hasn't been kicked off Summit Point for noise. If you leave it stock, you should be okay.

      @@Driven2Compete YMMV - The LCMT race circuit (Mt Tremblant, Quebec, Canada) are getting really anal with their 92 dB sound limit. After you get black-flagged twice in the same day, you get kicked out, and your name put on a list. If you get a third black flag during the season, you are banned from the track for life, regardless of the car you bring later. Lots of people have lost their privilege, even owners of stock Porsche GT3R's.

    Are those roush axle backs????,,,,and I believe you do not have the retune the car by just changing out this for the x oipe right

    • @Driven2Compete
      @Driven2Compete  3 года назад

      Those are Roush axle backs and you are correct, no retune needed for an exhaust change or x pipe add.

      @@Ecobeast2.7 I would take the car to a muffler shop and have them install a muffler where the original resonator would have been using an h pipe and matching it up to a muffler. It looks like Magnaflow only offers the mufflered h pipe in their kits now. The Borla was on a buddies car and failed. It was blowing packing out the tail pipes. They offered to replace it under warranty, but only once. If it would have failed a 2nd time, he would have not been covered. He chose to return it, put his h pipe back on and change the axle back to a different brand.

      @Marrs47 yea I have a 2022 with a H-Pipe and a Borla S-Type Active Axle Back. And if it wasn't for quiet start and quiet mode my neighbors would be at my door with pitchforks. In quiet mode it just sounds like a normal V8 starting. 😂
