- Assassin and Magic Archer are the best for Dragon Forging Swords, Shields, Daggers, Staves, SpellBows, and ShortBows. With Force Hatchet and Blast Arrows Assassin can kill Cursed Dragon quickly. With Magic Rebalancer and Comestion Magic Archer can kill Cursed Dragon quickly. Switch to the desired weapon to Dragon Forge when you get Cursed Dragon's Health low.
For the dinosaurs, a giant asteroid was their demise. For the cursed dragons, it was Nihil.

Greetings Nihil0.0. I just wanted to add that you may not need more than 1 Rancid Bait Meat to summon an endless amount of Cursed Dragons in Duskmoon Tower. I play on the Nintendo Switch, & when I summon a Cursed Dragon & kill it, I'll usually get the 1 to 2 extra spawns of Cursed Dragons when I exit & then reenter, & then nothing the next time around. But if I persist in exiting & reentering, sometimes it can take 10 to 15 tries, then I'll guaranteed get another Cursed Dragon spawn, & then it'll be 1 or 2, sometimes 3 in a row again before I have to exit & reenter a number of times before getting the spawn sequence again. Most of the time it'll be around 3 or 4, sometimes 5 times for it to trigger again, but can go 10 to 15 times or so. I use the door to the Ward Of Regret to do my Cursed Dragon respawns, I just enter it, then exit straight away & look straight forward once I'm back in Duskmoon tower to see if the Cursed Dragon's there in the distance, that way I can plan/buff for my preemptive strike & go from there. I found out about the infinite Cursed Dragon spawn by summoning the dragon, killing it what seemed like the maximum amount of times, & then going on a continuous Rotunda Of Dread marathon, & to my surprise sometimes I'd find the Cursed Dragon outside waiting for me when I'd take a walk around the Duskmoon Tower after having killed it last ages before. This infinite respawn also works if you kill either the Fire Drake or the Thunder Wyvern & the Cursed Dragon auto spawns right away, it even works if it doesn't spawn right away & you go in & out of the Ward Of Regret or Rotunda Of Dread several times, & thus I can then get infinite Cursed Dragon spawns without even having used 1 Rancid Bait Meat. So maybe this will work on other versions of Dark Arisen besides the Switch version.
Are you in Normal difficulty or are you in Hard Mode?
Thank you for showing me the usefulnes of comestion. So simple, yet so deceptivly powerfull
I just played as a pure sorceror, and comestion became much more useful than ingle very early on. The first level of comestion has considerable power for how quickly it comes out. Very useful for keeping enemies off of you and your pawns, even late into the game.
It's better if you don't upgrade it. 2nd stage of it only increases size, and I believe it decreases in damage.
I feel like you can Comenstion everything and it will work out.

I Like to do a lot of the base game endgame content like the Everfall before I go in to BBI, otherwise I feel like I'm skipping a chunk of progression.
That's the intention for BBI, but if you go in balls to the wall at lv 15.. It is quite an experience :)

@@Lancia444 Grinded BBi so much I can defeat most enemies I meet, I just got as far as the cursed dragon surrounded by undead bandits, yeeted and used a lifestone to get outta there.
You can use the upper room and create a save point near the bottom (even with calling pawns to you) return to the fight and finish him off. If not successful just reset the save with a gifted godsbane or menu choice and try the final kill-shot again. (Use rift pawns to carry blast arrows.)
I use the same technique of Rancid Bait + Cursed Dragon to level up my sorcerer and dragonforge my equipments. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone or, in this case, 1 cursed dragon LOL.
I usually upgrade to at least 1 star if materials are sparse or 2 / 3 stars if there's plenty before going to cursed dragon to increase chances, especially for multiple pieces. Tho it may not be easy for those that doesn't have dozens of bbi items to sell
Sorcerer pawn the best to help dragonforging. Set main pawn bolide only, hire 2 twink/max lvl sorcerer. They spam bolide as long u distract the dragon. Spam salomet secret 4x, mushroom potage. I made video about it. Blast arrow pawn could work using select herb potion. Force em equip at rotunda dread fiend luring.

If dragons were smart, they'd protect their weak spot in flight with their arms.
Somehow, I've carried on for years with the misconception that only upgraded items can be dragonforged. I knew everything you wear for the Grigori fight gets dragonforged regardless, but not for any other dragons. Does upgrading items increase the odds of dragonforging, or was I upgrading things for no reason at all?
Edit: Just looked it up. Dragons from Gransys and the offline Ur-Dragon require items to be upgraded to have a chance of being dragonforged. According to the wiki, at least.
Dragonforging can happen on any piece of equipment. Higher upgrades have higher chance of being dragonforged.
Stronger dragons are more likely to dragon forge your equipment upon death. Cursed dragons have the highest chance of all dragons (i belive 25%).
Grigori has 100%.
Best chance to dragonforge is a 3 star upgrade and cursed dragon. At that point, its nearly guaranteed

There's 2 ground level chests in midnight helix that I get them from. Highly likely to have the rancid bait
