glad to see someone with a bit shorter hair able to do this, my hair's a bit longer and also really thick but everyone doing these seems to have 4ft long hair
@@violetmarinaayis same, I even tried straightening my hair so it’s a bit longer (my hair is chin length when it’s natural, shoulder length straight, and in between when wet)
I know this is an old video, but just wanted to let you know it's still helping people!! I have shorter, finer hair that I'm trying to grow and love hair sticks. This is the first time I've been able to use them!!
Omg, I finally found a hair tutorial with someone who has the same hair length as me! I recently cut my hair but it’s still long enough that it bothers me in the summer.
Totally agree that someone finally did this kind of video with shorter hair! And girl your hair color is amazing! It's so pleasant and soothing to watch~
What a great video, it was very helpful and enjoyable! You have very pretty hair and your voice is so pleasant to listen to! Thank you for sharing this!
i thought my hair might be too short to use these bc none of the styles ive tried have worked but the second one with the pencil REALLY works! and it looks cool af thank you so much omg
super glad for this video. My hair is generally considered long but it's short enough that a lot of hair stick tutorials feel a little precarious to me
Thanks a lot I had donated most of my hair few months back. It grew to an obnoxious length where I couldn't let it free without my hair hindering my sight when working or studying. It's not like I carry a hair tie all the time but I mostly do have pen/pencil with me... I used to tie it up with hairpin stick all the time when I had long hair but I just couldn't tie my short hair the same way no matter how hard I tried Your video has helped me lots Thanks 😊 💕
Definitely will be trying these with my hair and the hair stick and this golden leaf hair pin I got. I was managing getting them to stay, but they weren't staying too study. Not used to doing my hair at all, so getting the bun to stay tight in the first place has been tough, but I'm figuring it out. Thank you so much for this video :)
Honestly. It's so nice to see someone do a chop stick bun with medium hair - everyone else just has hair to their waist and then they twist 500 times lol
Omg I actually did it!! 👏🏻 🤩 … with a chopstick that’s massssive lol. Maybe I will invest in an actual hair stick now. Thank You! - My hair is about your length
My hair in general is too thick for this... like each strand.. not saying that's a good thing.... Just saying. Because I am having ZERO luck with these styles.. *grumbles* I think they are actually frayed or whatever you would call it from color damage.. I try to smooth it out.... but it's a pain to do.. Watching these videos.. I see just how smooth others hair is.. and now I'm sad.. lol I laugh when I'm nervous and or sad lol
Chopsticks aren't normally made to be strong enough to hold hair, especially not thick hair. I sure hope you've bought hair sticks meant for your hair type by now.
I understand this is an older video but I would like to educate you on calling the hair pins (hair sticks ) up to you but call them chopsticks are quite wrong. Chopsticks and hair sticks are completely different so naming them in that title is kinda misleading and miseducating.
Its 2020 I can't believe this is still an issue- Specifically this trend was universal. Basically every population with straight to curly hair used sticks or string to style. Elastics, barrets, and clips, didn't exist yet. But generally- it shouldn't matter as long as you're nor purposely maliciously mocking someone. ✌

😂🤣 true
Same! But my hair is even shorter than hers so it doesn't stay lol.

Totally agree. So beautiful colors! 😍
Yes
I've been doing the second bun for a about 2.5-3 years now. It's my go to daily bun on my knee length hair.
the avatar is my hair in this bun.

So cool it stays in with that length of hair!
+Aodhamair here's a video I made of it last year.

your hair is so beautiful!!!
Thank you for this demonstration. No worries about the lipstick. You are so beautiful that I doubt anyone would even notice.
I really like the last one! You're very lucky as well to receive such a lovely hairstick from your friend. They are rare and expensive!
YAY, thank you for doing this slow and clearly. Finally one I could follow. Have a great day
Thank you much for this! I just bought a hair stick and never learned how to use them.. or pencils for my hair lol you’re a blessing!
Your hair is so beautiful and the the fact that it's dyed and still looks so healthy and flawless... I'm just in love
What a great video, it was very helpful and enjoyable! You have very pretty hair and your voice is so pleasant to listen to! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you so much! I always struggle with tutorials so seeing soem simple ones even I can do is excellent.
One of the first videos you've said every bit of what you do clearly and concisely, I've now learned this from you perfectly! Thank you so much!
I mean as far as tutorials go!!

I love your rainbow hair!
I have been trying to figure out how to do this with shorter hair for awhile now, this helped so much.
I know this is a tutorial about hair but I couldn't help but stare at your eyeshadow and lipstick colour the whole time. And the hair omg
This is so baller. No more hair ties that break! Thank you so much!!!

The third one is my favorite! Thank you for showing me it can be done with short/medium length hair!
I love your hair color.
very helpful cause I don't have a very long hair like in the other tutorials haha
Beautiful color on your hair!
This is a blessing ❤
Thanks. Need to practise the first one more but the second one suits me the best. I think that I'll go with the first two choices.
You are lovely..
And I'm glad to see hair length and texture similar to mine.
Is this possible to do with chin length, thick, curly hair? It keeps falling apart.
Love your hair 😁 the colors are very pretty
Thank you for this video.
Your hair color is so beautiful
Love this tutorial SO much!!!
Nice video
You hairs are very colourfull and beautiful

Skjdksjdk my hair is too short 😔 awesome video though!

I did this at my mulan costume
Space Dorito that's awesome! Which hairstyle did you do?
are you Irish, Aodhamair
Youre so cute
Halfway through the twist I realized my hair is either too thick, too long, too short, or too straight for any hair stuck tutorial
For the first one you did the twisty part really fast and I can't figure it out
Me watching this in #2020 🤧💀
nice video tho
My hair is so thick that the second one made me break my chopstick :(
oh no :S maybe try it with two sticks instead.
Carly Bontrager use a plastic chop stick i can't use wooden ones on my thick hair since it always breaks
Alix Deroca hahahaha it was plastic!
Use hairsticks not chopsticks. Chopsticks would probably offend people anyways
Chopsticks aren't normally made to be strong enough to hold hair, especially not thick hair. I sure hope you've bought hair sticks meant for your hair type by now.
girl at least show the back in the first one omfggg

You gotta let your hair grow long.
Working on it :)
Is wearing hairsticks cultural appropriation or appreciation?

@@betternow1906 okay thank you for the info
It's perfectly fine, hair sticks were used all over the world in every century nearly, and they are meant to be a lot healthier for your hair ^_^
