Decades after their legendary 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament clash, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso find themselves on opposite ends of life's spectrum. A down-on-his-luck Johnny attempts redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo, reigniting his old rivalry with the now-successful Daniel. This, however, reignites old tensions and ignites a new generation of fighters.
Cobra Kai, created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, is a sequel to the beloved Karate Kid films. Originally a RUclips Red/Premium series, it shifted to Netflix for later seasons. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and takes place roughly between 2017 and 2019.
The show offers a fresh perspective on the "Miyagi-verse" through Johnny's eyes. It explores the consequences of unresolved conflict and the complexities of good versus bad. While Johnny and Daniel remain the central characters, the series also features a talented young cast including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Jacob Bertrand. Familiar faces from the Karate Kid films, like Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith, also return.

Okea is a very cool guy!
He bears a striking resemblance to actor Hakim Alston who is famous for several martial arts movies in the 90s and eearly 2000s including a fight scene in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie against Liu Kang.
It is mostly the expression of intensity that I noticed it.
Similar style, but Okea brings it on a new level that I felt from watching his acting.
I really hope to see more from him.

Conspiracy theory: There was a leeked photo of miguel in a cobra kai gee with a sk captain head band, so i think johnny gets a new dojo last min, Kreeses cobra kai gee is plain black but the one migi was wearing had a yellow lining and also remember cobra kai earned a spot when terry was in charge.Kreese = korea cobra kai Johnny = America 😮😮
