Thank you. I have been using an old Cricket rigid heddle loom and "faking". You have offered some suggestions for the tablet weaving that I hadn't quite figured out.
This looks far too complicated for me. I'll stick to my large inkle loom. Often wondered if tablet woven bands would be easier to make on a loom like yours but i dont think so now.
Some specialist techniques need to have the tablets individually threaded - time consuming but necessary. Some weavers will then tie these lengths to posts, which I always found difficult to maintain tension. I find having different types of looms opens up different possibilities for weaving. I like an inkle, and have a couple of those as well!
