We did the same thing in the blue miata but that car did have the carpet from factory still so when we threw in the deadening it did reduce it but not as drastically as the purple miata

Hi Sal - I'm about to recarpet my interior and the link in your description for the Moss Miata carpet goes to a "Premium Carpet Set By Moss" but in the video you mentioned how nice a molded carpet is. DId you actually use the "Molded Carpet Kit" which is different than what your link is attached to?
That carpet looks like it fits good. I've heard horror stories about aftermarket carpet kits not fitting right. Prob good to spend on the good shizznit. I feel your pain wit the heat, its miserable here in Florida. Dealing with heat is usually the worse part of the project you're working on

Hi I am thinking of replacing my carpet on my Mazda mx5 mk3 NC model did you buy the same carpet from the Mazda dealers or did you buy your own carpet and then cut it out to fit an if so what carpet did you buy and the type I am looking at an off cut to make it the cheapest alternative how as he sound proofing any other tips would be appreciated Kind regards

We've taken the carpet out, taken the underlay out (And the ants nests).. question tho: the metal is like.. soft? and we're trying to clean it but it "turns black" and feels like its part of the panel. any advice? Also we're from australia, any advice on buying replacement carpet given that it's back to front?

Where did you find the convertible cover when the top is down, I’m not sure what it’s called either & doesn’t seem like it’s included with the carpet set
This kit specifically was only 1 style Molded I saw that option for the other carpet kit and it basically comes down to if you want it super thick/plush or not
That's not the carpet moss is selling now. Their lightest brown carpet is doo doo brown, not the nice tan like this one. Was very disappointed when I bought it wishfully hoping it would be like in the video and got fucked on shipping sending it back.

Looks like he just used a razor blade and cut the carpet where the dash started

It was cut so we didn’t replace 1000% of it but you can just tuck it under the dash and it will be fine 🙏🏼

The Moss Miata comes with two options for the style, is this the loop or the cut pile?

Which color did you get? Lightest I see is honey tan then autumn leaf is definitely on the darker brown side
