  • Week 3 of our adventure around Tasmania! We say goodbye to the wild West Coast and head South, setting up camp in the beautiful Huon Valley. We enjoy a delicious day out at the Taste of the Huon Festival, an annual event that attracts over 25,000 visitors, and the boys journey to the end of the world, the southernmost point of Australia!
We tick off a bucket list item and spend a few days exploring Bruny Island including the spectacular south Bruny lighthouse and the many local producers and culinary delights.... a foodie heaven!
Next week we’re off to the historical village of Richmond, and Port Arthur on the rugged Tasman Peninsula!

We are an ordinary Australian family, creating extraordinary experiences. We've taken a leap of faith, packed up our lives, said goodbye to the 9-5 grind and hello to 24/7 - life as a traveling family!
Being complete caravanning newbies, we are hoping the experiences we share through our Family Travel Australia series will not only have an educational element, but will inspire you to take your own leap of faith, get outdoors and make memories that will last.

Nice holiday. Next time be sure to pick up some totally organic, locally grown, olive oil from a roadside stall at Bull Bay on North Bruny near Dennes Point.
