I was just looking for a nice 1006a prelude performance and here it is! It's quite unusual for classical guitarists to play Bach in a more strict way avoiding unnecessary rubatos or overwhelming dynamics. It'll be a delight to listen to this entire recording considering what I've heard so far. Great job recording this heavenly music and thank you very much for uploading.
What can I say, sir... After just the 1006a prelude I had high expectations. And yet you've managed to surprise me. Your wise tempo choices allow the music to reveal it's unbelievable depth. And tempo consistency makes Bach's genius thought so clear. I admire the way you sing individual voices in this intricate polyphony yet keep them delicate so nothing harms the beautiful balance between them. And with how much care you treat every subtle detail! Like those occasional staccatos you would sometimes use to gently underline a note or two. With the touch of your masterful hands the voice of loving God whispers in those strings. Thank you for the love and respect you've treated this music with. Thank you, sir! And SDG!

Beautiful music and beautifully performed and recorded. Is this available on CD as opposed to download?
Thanks so much! Only download at the moment, but I will certainly let you know if CDs are printed.
This is a great performance! I’m curious - what is the cover art?
