I’m an old geezer who’s taught American Lit and Studies for over 35 years at the university level and has been saddened by the lack of imagination and excellence in the musical arts found during my tenure. But, usually in American arts there has been an explosion of great, world-class creativity during the first half of the previous 2 centuries. Imaginative and artistic performances such as yours has given me hope that this tradition is going to continue in this century.
