I believe many Dears have adopted Kazakhstan as a second home. We all so proud of him. He is a great ambassador for his beloved homeland. He was recently awarded People's Artist of Kazakhstan. He deserves any award that can be given.

Thank you for reacting to this beautiful anthem. And I love Dimash's lower tones. He sings it with such dedication and pride in his homeland. I like it. Dimash sang the anthem at Ak-Orda Palace in Astana. This is the official seat of the President of Kazakhstan. The national anthem was broadcast on television on New Year's Eve, immediately after the President of Kazakhstan's New Year's address. The anthem in its current form has been around since January 6, 2006. By the way, Kazakhstan is the 9th biggest country in the world.
The first time he sang the anthem was before the boxing fight between Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan (Dimash's friend) and the Mexican Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas. He traveled to Las Vegas at the request of his friend Golovkin just a few days before his big concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September 2022. I woke up extra early to see Dimash sing it. In Germany the fight was I think at 3.30 or 4.00 am. It was worth it. I couldn't believe it when I heard his voice. I was so proud when he sang the anthem, even though it's not mine and I sang it the whole day. I couldn’t get it out of my mind.
At this time things went crazy on Twitter after the fight. So many people wanted to know who sang the national anthem and Dears had a lot to do educating people.
By the way, he held the last note for 20 seconds.

Dimash , recently honoured by the President with the title, Peoples Artist of Kazakhstan, performs at the Government Building in Astana. Broadcast on TV directly following the Presidents New Year address. Dimash is a national treasure and a personal friend of the President who also gifted him a Kazy puppy, a rare breed of Kazakh dog with a centuries old history, he received the pup , he at the same time he received his title.
Dimash will soon be singing a duet with Placido Domingo, Placido asked him to perform with him after his 18 year old grandson showed him a video of him singing. His grandson is a fan of Dimash. Also, Dimash was asked to be a member of the jury for Placidos TV programme Virtuosos, a show for young classical musicians to compete together. Dimash has been a judge at many different shows and festivals and is known to be very fair and thorough. This show will be shown on the Virtuosos RUclips channel on the 19th and 27th of January. The Duet will be shown on one of them, probably the last show. I'm looking forward to it very much. Kazakhstan is a huge country, the 9th largest in the world and the largest landlocked country in the world ❤

This performance was shot at the Ak Orda (Presidental Palace) in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. I believe it serves multiple purposes beyond showing how great Dimash sings and wishing everyone a Peaceful New Year.
