The o-ya-su-mi bit is so wonderful due to the youthful contrast of voice. I also adore how the third time its repeated, the "o" sounds more like an "oh..." as if to sound a bit off-key and surprised. Really highlights that this story is about childhood trauma. I also really like the "Hands!" part! It's one of my fave bits of the original, and this rendition of it is so fun! I know the instrumental isn't yours, but your tuning really compliments it and I must say, this is such a joy to listen to. I love your little illustrations too, making Basil as deadpan as Sunny was an excellent executive decision.
