I have to say, going to antique stores is my favorite thing to do! Loved all the beautiful brass! That stair display was gorgeous❤ Lol every time i go antiquing and get home i'll think of something i didn't get & regret it! I have gone back shopping and found them again & was able to get them.. but not always so lucky. I'd love to have one of those pipberry garlands, haven't seen one around here anywhere🫤 So much fun tagging along, thanks for taking us with you😊

That place is so cool! Such a bummer that that vase wasn't food safe, so you couldn't use it for your rolling pins. The mattress springs chandelier/light fixture was such a cool idea!!! Those gingerbread men dishes were sooooo cute! Those would be so fun to serve stuff on at Christmas time. My husband is a total trooper for going to thrift stores and stuff with me, when it's not really his favorite thing either. We've got ourselves some really great husbands. I loved seeing all of the fun stuff that place has to offer!

Hey Ang, I know how you feel when you debate on something in a place, decide not to get it at the moment then think about it after lol but I always realize that they'll be something else out there haha. I definitely can identify with Danny when you mentioned how he looks at the nostalgia type stuff from childhood it's always amazing to see that stuff at this stage of your life compared to when you first had it as a kid. It hits differently, right? I see nostalgia as a mental escape since adulthood comes with a lot of difficulties as well as good times, although childhood does have its own challenges, just different kinds.
Hey Joe! Thanks for hanging out in the shops with us! I do regret not getting that copper plaque but that's okay I'm sure next time I'll find something even better! Danny acts like its not his favorite thing to do but then he'll find toys from our childhood and it just brings back sooo many memories. He will even try to play with some to see if they work just as he remembers haha It's really fun if you think about it. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days. You are so right, it is a mental escape.....It is taking me back to a time mentally where I don't have to think about present day. That's my head most days though, I am def. living in my own world. Its pretty great haha

What a cool place! Danny sure is a trooper, my husband will occasionally go with me antiquing but if I even say a word that rhymes with thrifting he runs for the hills. LOL Sometimes it's fun to just browse and get ideas so I was loving all of the different booths!

It did look like you found some really nice blue and white pieces to put in your home. Bummer the one piece couldn't be used for your rolling pins. It is crazy how many unique items you can find antique shopping. The garlic copper piece was nice! Would be nice if you got it if you went back. There was some really cute spring and Easter decor options too.

That Oriental blue/white bowl would've been too short and delicate to hold rolling pins. When I go to thrift stores, my husband stays in the car and naps. LOL!
Estelle my hubby naps in the car sometimes too hahaha but when he comes in he finds some treasures too. That vase was so pretty but not worth the poison. Thank you for hanging out with me. Hope you are having a wonderful week sweet friend 💗
