Very nice cab ride! One of the best I have ever seen. Beautiful scenery, good weather, a lot of information and last but not least - a clean window. Thank you!

Fantastic! Your best yet. We have a deep affection for this beautiful country as my wife’s mother is from here. The use of a vintage class of loco, a lovely old 1110.5, is the icing on the cake. I used to film these and all the other old OBB electric classes in the 80s and 90s. All that variety has gone now!
What a piece of brilliant. I can't even imagine how much time it took to add annotations for every bridge/city/speed limit for the whole 9hr duration. Best of luck to the Author and thanks for the showing this beautiful country.
Thanks. Yes, it did take quite a while. I worked on it here and there for about 4 months. Apart from the annotations, there are a lot of contrast and brightness adjustments to correct the camera's under or overexposure.

Good morning, I've been seeing the cab rides you put online on youtube for a long time and I realize that Switzerland and Austria are quite similar environments. They are two beautiful countries, they have excellent railway infrastructures, and also human constructions, houses, etc. etc., they are very beautiful. The more I watch these videos the more I realize I was born in third world Europe. Italy.
Up to now I watched train trips (as YT live performances) in Sweden and Norway. Or the TGV in France... Now I learn that also in my very homeland (Bludenz area) they also started to send these videos from the driver's cabin. Nice to see. I went this railway to Vienna destination about 10 times but never with the driver's perspective...Thanks a lot 👏
Absolutely superb, I'm really enjoying my trip from one side of Austria to the other immensely. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful as well.... Right back to the video. TTFN.
@ 'What makes me thinking is, that there are only few train crossings.' BTW, the cab ride across Austria took place in February 2021. In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, restrictions on the timetable for short- and long-distance travel had been applied. An additional bundle of Covid-19 restrictions across Austria dropped down the passenger count drastically.
Congrats and thank you for such a long video I would like to appreciate your efforts and hard work to edit and make the content informative. 9 hours is really a long journey. I can imagine how much time you spend on editing this project. 👏👏👏👏👏

Hallo! Sehr schönes Video. Kompliment! Daumen hoch, bitte weiter so.
Watched this in episodes some weeks ago, good to see that, on the high ground at least, the railway is still regarded as part of the environment, rather than something to box in and conceal - also good to see how the new route through St Anton compares with my memories of the previous formation - the relatively new Pyhrn connection was fun too - thanks for your marathon efforts on this! \m/
To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you. ❤

Sehr flotte, beeindruckende Fahrt.

Now I learn that also in my very homeland (Bludenz area) they also started to send these videos from the driver's cabin. Nice to see. I went this railway to Vienna destination about 10 times but never with the driver's perspective...Thanks a lot 👏
Thanks for your comment =)
Super! Thanx!
Absolutely superb, I'm really enjoying my trip from one side of Austria to the other immensely. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful as well.... Right back to the video. TTFN.
Holy crap what a beautiful upload!
Another great video , thanks a lot !!!!
@ 'What makes me thinking is, that there are only few train crossings.'
BTW, the cab ride across Austria took place in February 2021.
Thanks. Yes, I started editing about 6 months ago. Thanks for your appreciation.
Like the cab rides. Remind me of my brief engineer experience. Look forward to this. .
Daumen hoch, bitte weiter so.
Love your videos, one day I'll travel on this train ❤ im from Brazil
recht eintönige Strecke, der arme Lokführer. Bin ja beim Ansehen fast eingeschlafen
I'm watching day by day, km by km, hour by hour. I'm in half way, but it's realy nice. Many thanks !
Epischste Bahnmitfahrt aller Zeiten!
The lake at Zell am See looks really nice but, I think it might be a little bit too cool for a dip.
i watched it from start to finish it was a great train journey. the first few hours high mountains deep valleys then flat land it was beautiful 🥰
Thanks for your comment, glad you liked it

To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you. ❤
Wow Cool! Can not wait to watch this cabride 😇😎

I can’t wait 😛 to view this masterpiece, Lorirocks777. Wagons roll!!
Awesome ride. This makes me get a hankerin' for pierogies and a stein of beer. Oompah !
beautiful scenery, love it.
9h !! thanks up load !!!!
Great video! What a great way to release stress
Sehr flotte, beeindruckende Fahrt.
super=etendard failed to mention that the hohenwerfen castle/fortress (4:31:56) was also in the film sound of music and also where eagles dare. and that it has an interesting history.

You seem to be running towards the biggest Hump Yard in Austria Wien Kledering.
Well, we finally shot a video about a trip to Austria ! And then all the time Switzerland. Thanks a lot !
15:00 Such a beautiful country. Why are you taking such an old locomotive across the country? Maybe you will be picking up cars along the way??
