I have been very frustrated that people have not been discussing the 25th Amendment much more often and seriously. The focus seems to be focused on whether Biden should be the Democratic nominee for President for the upcoming Democratic National Convention and ultimately the November general election, but President Biden seems incapable of carrying out the responsibilities of his office now. Not rigorously discussing whether invoking the 25th Amendment is appropriate seems dangerously cavalier.

It probably won’t get used, but the threat is crucial.

Of course it's dangerously cavalier, but it's also politically expedient. The question being asked isn't "How do we protect and serve the country and its citizens when our leader is incapacitated?" It's "What's the fastest way to subvert democracy so that we can get back to pontificating about saving democracy?"

@@1237barca It probably won't get used or discussed seriously, democrats eagerly talked it up when Trump was in office (to save democracy of course), if they try it on Biden this soon it will make them look bad. The best part is, anything they do makes them look bad, and if they do nothing they lose anyway.

I like the way the Byzantines got rid of rulers. They just cut his hair and packed him off to a monastery.

The democrats have parades in Dallas or speeches in hotels.

@@KaiserBlade I have lived in Dallas for the best part of my life, and I have never seen a Democrat parade (or Republican for that matter). Gay Pride parades, yes! 😁

@@sifridbassoon I saw a presidential parade there in 1963. It was the last time anyone saw President Kennedy alive.

@@sifridbassoon If I remember correctly there was a small motorcade presidential parade in 1963. The last one president Kennedy was in . I don't expect you to know about it. His brother gave a speech in a hotel and that was his last speech as well.
