I've always theorized that Angel changed his normal jacket color because of his jealousy of Xander and was trying to appear more "human" like him to Buffy...
Another very interesting thing about the BTVS series is the writers constantly pay homage to old films throughout. Here of course we have The Frankenstein type theme, but also if you notice near the start where 'My Girl' is being sung whilst assembling the parts, a direct reference to 1987 film Mannequin starring Andrew McCarthy and Kim Catrall, where Jonathan is singing that same song whilst trying to create the perfect girl Mannequin. Also calling the dead character here DARYL could be a reference to 1985 sci-fi D.A.R.Y.L. , could be coincidence that last one but who knows. Quiet sad when we see Daryl's mother looking at his old American Football games, and Daryl himself thinking of his human life as well.
Angel is not in his stereotypical black in this episode because of the Xander jealousy :P He's trying to dress a little more like Xander here LOL I agree, he needs his usual look back. :)
The Buffy writers often tried to work in monster-of-the-week episodes based on the classic monsters. So here they did Frankenstein, or rather, The Bride of Frankenstein. Jenny and Giles is now official. And Bangel, it seems, is starting to take off.
Hey after this you should watch Alias with jennifer garner. Such a good show that expects its audience to keep up with its fast pace. Its a spy/thriller/action with a bit of supernatural thrown in its over arching story. I really think you would enjoy it if you havent seen it, its from 2001-2006.
I'm not the biggest rugby fan (Not League or Union), but I'd have to respectfully disagree on the watchability of American Football. It's too stop-start. Run three yards, wait a bit, reset, repeat, then bring on an entire new set of players to kick. A 60 minute game should never take more than two hours to play.

That's it exactly. There's no way Angel's fashion sense would lead him down the "dad jacket" path.
I thought that, too.
Yes that what his jealous of Xander look.

Can’t wait for next episode - you’ll understand why
Xander saying people want what they can't have....
Willow looking at him and mopping, him looking at Buffy....
Can't wait for the next one.
.
So excited for next episode

What can you say about a roller coaster ride once it's over? Either you had thrills, or you didn't.
Angel calls Xander a "kid" yet is dating Buffy, who is the same age???? lol
Do you know what rugby is?
Yeah, weird episode. The next one is better... :)
Imo this is one of the few weak episodes of s2 but i love the Jenny/Giles stuff.
