His mother was the reason he battled so heavily with God and christianity. Which is why most people won't revisit the song, since he is directing this song to the christian God asking all these questions and how someone could let these bad things happen and how he could let his own mother suffer for so long, because she was so devoted to her God. It's really deep and thought provoking. Even if you believe in a God or no God at all, you can feel the pain that weighs on him.

Listen to "u" by Kendrick Lamar, it's sort of like the same. He's yelling at himself for being a "fuck up" and talks about how he's suicidal, and what's caused him to be.

49-year-old middle-class woman here. I love heavy metal and acoustic guitar. My son played this for me, and I thought...it's okay. Listened to it a couple more times. My reaction now is goosebumps....every time I listen to it. Tears and goosebumps. Not just for the message, but for the musicality of it. The contrast of the slow and powerful background music with the sudden fast lyrics, then contrasted with the slow and belted lyrics, the constant build up....the scream at the end coming from a place of real grief. I don't know how ANYONE could not be moved listening to this. I LOVE this. It hurts me, as it should.
His message in this song is what these young people need to hear.

I've seen him quite a few times now and have even taken my son and his buddy to a show and he really is GREAT in person. All of the bras that girls throw on stage he keeps,has cleaned and donates them to some charity that finds needy titties for them. That's pretty cool for an artist to do. He's fast as Fuck too! Really notice at a show. After a bunch of white boys that all sound like Eminem get done you finally get to see Tech!! Gotta love the way him and Travis are building their own KC empire of artists and Tech getting better and better all the time.
