Roskilde Cathedral is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
For centuries, the Danish kings and queens have been laid to rest in Roskilde Cathedral.
The film tells the cathedral's unique 1,000-year history, from the first wooden church to the present-day cathedral. Including footage from King Christian X's funeral in 1947 and from King Frederick IX's funeral in 1972. There are also scenes from the dramatic fire at the cathedral in 1968.
The film was first released in 2006, this is a remastered HD 2025 version.
