In the May 2020 update the Gladiator was buffed to the same stats it was today, the only thing that has changed beyond that point is gaining the ability to block stuns.

Gladiator will (I guess and In my opinion)be nerfed so hard like toxic gunner and sledger must be buff bc it's so bad yet(so bad at early defense and I guess it must be buffed yet)
Toxic gunner: i got nerfed but it dosent mean that i lost my friend sledger.
its no bad early i always used it for early i just dont use anymore cause i am not playing tds cause if i want speedrun i use it xd

@@akibmuaz3519 Warden is expensive, hard to get and has a stun almost all Fallen mode enemies has immunity, Meanwhile sledger is cheaper, easier to get and has an op as hell stun that very fez enemies are immune to

I wish I grinded for it and didn't know it was a bad tower at the time so I could use it now.
2023: i got nerfed, now i have animation before i can attack after using ability. And i can only hit 3 enemies at once now.

i regret ignoring the heights event cus its unobtainable now
i personally think glad is still really good. it's flaws are low and it just deals a ton of dps. if you could get enough of these guys, your basically asking for a free win and that's what your getting!
Yeah that's the issue, below constantly buffs already over powered troops and nerfs the bad ones through the floor

when commander got the mega nerf gladiator too ;( now his ability isn’t really useful but for me the gladiator is best tower in game
@TKG gladiator replaces golden scout and golden soldier 100% because basically golden soldier is the worst golden tower since it has terrible dps and golden scout stats is laughable and gladiator has faster firerate and within its ability it reduces 35% swing rate and teh fact you use the ability with commander ability gladiator has reduced 90%-95% firerate that makes the gladiator the unquestionable winner
@TKG sledgers dps is just low and it has a placement limit of 6 and it’s only useful for freezing enemies like speedy boss or tank but it can’t do anything to bosses like fallen king or molten boss and gladiator can shred bosses since gladiator doesn’t have a placement limit and if u use it with comamnders ability and gladiator ability gladiator could do 800 DPS within liek 0.05-0.55 firerate that just makes it similar to accel so gladiator is just better by 100%

I think gladiator is the best early game tower because it can hit multiple enimes with decent dps at low levels and is stronger than gold scout because it has 2 damage at low levels (lvl 0) gladiator has 2 (I think) but hits 3 enimes so it rounds up to 6 at low levels which is insanely good for 300 cash I appreciate you making videos have a good day/night

well i was one of few that grinded for the gladiator- while many purchased it. its a good tower doesnt matter what time of the game early or mid late or easy mode molten or fallen hardcore or polluted pizza party or lost souls it doesnt matter

My friend played since area 51 event and sfoth but got minigunner in 2021.

i would say glad is a really good tower it can carry you all the way from wave 1-39 in molten and can kill the grave digger allthough it just isnt really a great last wave tower, on fallen the glad becomes useless once the fallen heroes spawn, they are too fast.
No single tower is good at everything. Glad equipped with accel is the best speed running combo in the game.
Gladiator early : extremely good
Gladiator mid : good
Gladiator late : not too bad
You'd have accels to cover your late game though.
