Whoa, I have never seen this method, pretty cool... I mean, hot!
Soldering small terminals to small cables was a pain. When unable to twist the cables, they don't stick around well even with a holding tool. But this way of yours sounds awesome

How do you clean the solder tip so you can do more than 2 or 3 wires? It would oxidise and develop a flux crust pretty quick wouldn’t it?

  • @vishalkrsingh6184

Does solder paste ever go bad, because mine is not working as it should i.e. It's not helping in connecting rather its doing the opposite.

How is your iron tip? Is it silver or burned out? Do you clean it gently with a metal sponge?

Nice way to get a cold solder joint. The base metal needs to be heated so the solder will wet it and flow through the joint not just cover it. Take it from someone who is solder certified. Consider the electronics next time you get on a commercial jet, these boards get sent in for repairs. Ignorance gets people killed.

I doubt someone watching this video is looking to repair a nuclear reactor. While what you say is true, the audience for this video are amateurs looking to fix their charger. Chill out, man.

Don't do that. Unless you have surgeon-steady hands, and 63/37 solder, this will always give you cold joints.

wow after watching this video im kinda afraid for you.
don't use a cardboard stand to hold up a very hot soldering iron... oh boy that's just asking for a fire or burned fingers.
dont use anything that holds the iron by the handle.. the hot metal is way more exposed. you could easily brush it with a finger, your face, or your cat.
use metal helping hands tool to hold the wire while you solder them together.
