Loved it when you said "Come on, man" as he sheepishly throws up his hands like "What?" Living vicariously through you guys, really miss the farm work.
Why? Get control of your life.
Laura, I can't imagine you ever being grumpy, even after driving all day. You and Grant both have such a wonderful personality, that's what makes these videos so special. Keep them coming, we enjoy going along for the ride.
I can imagine her flipping out over a dirty sock accidentally droped in the hallway by Grant.
Laura, you mentioned in the video that you might try to do a tour of the ethanol plant. That would be awesome to see how its processed from beginning to end and what they do with the by product. Thanks for another great videos, kittens are cute for sure.
Byproduct is typically used for animal feed
I would love to see a video of the ethanol plant.
Kittens need their own channel. Laura and Peppers babies
I live watching you guys every day. With all the bad news it’s reassuring to know there are young people out there working hard, making. A living and cementing the future of this country. God bless you both!
🙏 Amen!!
Bad news.. that's farming and always has been. Things go awry at times :)
One of the reasons Laura Farms is so popular is your presentation is just spot on.
I worked at an ADM processing plant here in Clinton, IA. When I see an ethanol plant like the one you just unloaded at it brings back lots of memories. That wet feed load out is what we used to call guano or wet feed. It contains all the left over from processing and is high in protein, you mix it with silage to feed. cattle like it, I don't because it smells. our brand was called golden gluten. We unloaded trucks all day long (400) and did rail at night. We ground about 300,00 bu/day. That is a lot of corn and is a big market for the farmer. So, when we say we appreciate all that a farmer does is true.
❤ 11:26 Thank You! for acknowledging scammers are *not your* responsibility to kill .. I hate to think you good folks spend *any time* combatting them 👍😎✊
I grew up in a farming town in Missouri. Carrollton is a town along the Missouri River so as you know, a Lot of farm ground in the river bottoms. My first 50 years was sharing the highways with farming equipment, farm trucks, and seeing kids a couple years early driving farm equipment. It’s a life that I’ll always be grateful for living! There’s No life like Farm life!!
He didn't miss Laura. Grant was making sweet spots for deer season. Right?
The kittens to close with is awesome. Leave the viewers with a smile😀😀😀😀😀
2:04 You have a brake light out on the fuel trailer, left side.
Thank you Laura and Grant for taking the time during the busy harvest to show us video's of your days while harvesting!
It has been soooo nice to have lots of videos from you guys to watch. Whoever complained about having too many videos doesn't have to watch them. It is so refreshing to watch you and Grant and just wanted to say keep up the absolutely great content!
For anyone wondering. "Interrupt" on the dash is a momentary switch to shut off the trailer lights to say thank you to truckers who flash their lights when you pass telling you you're clear to move over.
Thank you so much for giving the dates!! Bummer on the corn spill😢
👍
i cant imagine you, Laura , being grumpy..... your smiling demeanor makes my day better.... Thank you and Grant for taking us along......
I would also enjoy seeing the working of the ethanol plant. Also see what happens to the soy.
A video everyday is great. Never get tired watching you and grant.
3:41 - I found the Interrupt switch our kids often use! 😂 Blessings on the harvest!
I love seeing your daily videos. I look forward to seeing something normal and wholesome and good in this strange world we are now living in.
Back in the 80’s when I helped a guy farm we planted some corn one year for one of the guys we rented land from and we used the bean header to combine the corn, because we didn’t have a corn header. I was thinking that you and Grant might want to use your bean header on the fields that has blown down corn. Love the videos, keep them coming. I don’t think I’ve missed any. Love you guys
Sorry for you.. about that corn field!
I like the night runs with the lights!!😊
It's always a pleasure to see a young pretty lady running heavy equipment on a farm. I enjoy watching what you and Grant have created from your fruits of hard work. 🌽🌽🌽
Calm down Jeff, she’s married.
@@jasonbrown2060There was nothing unappropreat in his comment.
(GROW UP)
Love seeing pepper and the kid's Laura 😊
Your happy spirit can raise the vibes of anyone you are around !💗❤️💕🌸
We have a camera mounted on the unloader spout, which makes filling trailers much easier. Cant say we never have a spill on the move, but at least you know you are doing it!
Thanks for the ride!
Laura, you are a sweet kitten, just as lovable. I remember the year you had corn on the roof of the cab, I think it is pay back time. I hope my thought are correct and you are making a good profit this year. The video title did worry me a bit.
Love from Mike. ❤❤
I don't know what I'm going to do when the kittens leave!!! It's😞 the best part of my day to see them and you! Let them in the house!
Kitties know where they'd be safe and warm and fed...😺 15:01
Ethanol plants are really cool! Actually what they were loading with the Deere loader is actually WDG, Wet Distillers Grain. DDG is Dry Distiller Grain and is always loaded inside a building cause it’s so light. A buddy hauls both out of several ethanol plants in Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
Of course the kittens are getting chubby!!! When was the last time you saw a mouse, lizard, cricket, grasshopper, or a wild leaf floating around, they are really cute
13:07 “Come on, man. Unreal!” 😂 ❤❤❤ … 🙏 for more 🐈 🐈 🐈 coverage
Every time I see one of those people stealing your content I report it. Irritates me when people steal what doesn't belong to them. Love watching all of your videos
The kittens are so cute. I remember having a foster family of kittens and how fun it was to have them climb. It has to end though as they gain weight and length of claws. The one I adopted from the litter sometimes doesn't realize she is no longer a kitten and it TOO heavy to climb or jump on my back especially with no shirt on or even a light TShirt.
You are both so so cool and Grant, we appreciate so much you have waked up just for us - nice harvest to you both 🙂🙂🙂
The kittens are a plus. We have alway love watching you.
I confess, when you first started doing daily postings I wasn't too keen on them.
However I have sense come around so that I now look forward to my daily dose of Laura Farms. It reminded me of how much I loved working on a farm/ranch, and how much that I cherished work with my grandfather on his places.
I thank you for remaining steadfast to your commitment. I can appreciate how much time and effort that you all put into it. I haven't been involved in the full process of bringing a video together, I have only worked on the back half of the production and man alive there is a truck load of work that goes into creating content.
I am sure that as time has gone on that you all have learned what you can do prior to each stage of recording your day, and editing and posting of your video to take steps ahead of taping and during taping that makes it better and more efficient in each stage, as well as throughout the entire process. I tip my hat to you all.
For me it can be a chore to get the post watched fir each video. My days can be very busy, so to fit an entire time slot for a whole video can take some doing. It is always worth it.
Thank you, one and all.
Oh my gosh dinky little Laura 😍, just love ❤️ the narrative is so very natural and the passion in your chosen field (hehehe excuse 😜 the pun).
Flows like a river from the mountains to the sea and the rainbow 🌈 of special people and places in between ❤.
Another adventure in Nebraska.
Every day I'm excited.😊
That view over the dash in the morning on your way to the plant was the best!
You are right, crect ,ઘણો જ આંનદ થયો।
Thanks Laura just because i had a bad experience w/Chief doesn't mean you made a poor choice. They will treet you well untill they don't. Keep on truckin
The kittens are adorable! Please get ALL the cats fixed. The shelters are full of them if you ever need more. Love your videos. Be safe!
It's so cute to see your face light up when you meet up with the farm pets, especially with your kittens. It is heart warming to see folks who love their animals, even if they are more farm animals than pets. They truly just want love, and to love in return.
I love the way farming is done, like combines driving on the highway... thanks for the long hours of hard work...
I do love watching the cats. I have one inside/outside cat who catches mice but demands the "good" cat food inside. He also loves my lounging chair for my TV watching to sleep in during the day. So he gets the house and I get the shop TV. One spoiled pampered cat.
Grant really spilled the beans, or corn, there didn’t he? Oh Laura, glad to see your dad bought your old fuel trailer. He seemed pretty excited in his last video.
These Kittens - Cuteness overload
So enjoy watching your videos. One fall many years ago I helped my father in law by driving a Farm truck to haul silage. Brings back memories of my time helping out on the farm. My husband and your grandpa were roommates at Trinity College in Illinois for a semester….that’s how I found you on RUclips!
The crazy cat lady comment cracked me up! My wife and I are fostering four kittens and we have them climbing us all of the time. A tour of the ethanol plant would be awesome.
Your videos are awesome. As born and raised farm girl, I can relate to most of the things you video, especially hauling corn, but we either hauled to the local elevator or stored on the farm. I love your videos, because what a learning experience through your videos for those unlike some of us will never get to experience farm life.
Thanks L&G appreciate You Two!!
Wow That Was Some Twisted Laying Down Corn That's Gotta Be Rough and Tough On The Combine Picking The Corn Off The Ground!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😄👍👊❤️
The kittens are getting so big!!! Awesome !!
I have a Fall special right now on Crazy Cat Lady Expand-O-Kits.. they come in a variety of colors and patterns. I even have some that look like your white sox models. I feed dry food only, and its between 100 to 120 lbs/mo.. All thanks to someone who dropped off 3 prego black cats, about 4 yrs ago. These are all outside cats, because I'm allergic to them, especially Fall, when the ragweed kicks in. Love y'all ❤️!
Thanks for another great video Laura and Grant. It was interesting for sure.
Grant was dumping corn over the side of the trailer and Laura was doing everything she could to get his attention to stop. Oh my!!!!!
Grant, get the shovel out. Quite a bit of corn on the ground. Happens. Been there done that myself.
Hauling corn to the corn plant is a interesting plant to go to. See sometime if we can get a tour of their plant. Lots of Nebraska corn going there at usually reasonable prices. Keep on trucking Laura!!!!!!!!!! You are doing great.
Thanks for everything Laura. The kittens are really growing. You all take care and be safe.
Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Forgot. Thanks for doing the harvest videos right away and putting them on line for us. Thanks.
Laura and Grant sorry to see your corn field is so damaged, not only loss of corn but difficult to harvest and risk of damage to the combine.
Thank U for being a KITTY LOVER and showing off your Babys at the end… My Baby girl of 14 years Passed away back on the 5th of September 😢… Take care of them , Love them , & Spoil them , They WILL return all that love🥲 when U are tired & need Fuzzy love 👍…
Good morning Sunshine! Nice to see your pleasant and warm smile again this morning. Love the kitten shots with them scampering here and there in their white socks. I could see that you were tired today, especially by days end but you kept up the charge ahead and toughed out another long day. I can't believe you ran 4+ miles, but on the other hand, I wasn't surprised. Your drive and activity level is what keeps you so slim and lean. I loved seeing you at the end with the kitten mountain comment. Those looked like bell bottom jeans and I haven't seen them in years. You looked fantastic in them, of course you always look fantastic Laura. Grant looked tired as well. I hope you two got a good nights sleep so were charged up for today. Have a great day and be safe. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
I love the videos of the harvest process from here in the U.K, seeing the day to day adventures, and behind the scenes as well. Keep them coming regards Chris Jones.
Oh my God that would be so cool getting a tour of that place it looks amazing I live in Kansas about 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City Kansas and I absolutely just enjoy watching farming in your are amazing the closest I can get to the farming in real life is on Farming Simulator 22 lol I absolutely enjoyed this game and makes me feel like I'm actually farming
The only social media I'm on is RUclips and Twitter, and I absolutely adore cats. So a thumbs up for the kittens ❤
I know absolutely nothing about farming (other than what I've learned from your channel). I just love watching you and Grant together. You two are so cute together and I love how you work as a team. Gives me hope for the future.
Thanks Laura and Grant for making these videos. I look forward to coming home from work everyday to see what you have been up to. Ive learned a lot and watch the fields in my area to see if they use pivots or underground systems.
The reflation off the glass makes it look like the trees are on top the clouds.
I would love to see how they make ethanol from corn!
warms my heart to see young people taking an interest in farming! Best of luck in harvest, yes down corn sucks, stay safe!
Hi Laura!
As always this is another great video.
And you are right, those kittens are so cute and loving.
Take care my friend.
Ft. Wayne, IN.
I retired from Offutt AFB in Omaha quite a few years ago. Watching your channel makes me regret that my travels never took me west of Lincoln. Enjoy following farm life through your channel. And my wife absolutely adores the kittens!!!
I really an enjoying the daily content. You seem much more relaxed this harvest than in previous years.
That has to feel,so good to turn the key and hear the diesel kick!
Great see this all and great to see you shifting like a Big Road Mama in that 18 wheeler!
I have been enjoying your harvest videos. Always nice to see young people out chasing their dreams. Keep up the good work and be safe.
Hi Laura! I so enjoy watching and listening to you and Grant,
You both are young, like I was starting my job of my life working on the railway.
I was 24 years old and in my prime and just couldn't wait to get to work every day.
Keep your great videos coming and remember safety always comes first.
I see u had some wind downing your stalks. I live about 26 miles from Des Moines Iowa. On August 10 ,2021 we had 112 mph winds (called a deratio storm. All the corn around us were flat as a pancake. Traveled 2-3 miles north of us the wind stopped blowing, all the corn was standing. Amazing !! Cedar Rapids winds of over 116 mph. It used to have a lot of trees !! Some people said
they were without power for 7-10 days !!
I would never get tired of that view in the morning! Absolutly beautiful! Thanks guys for giving us an escape from our reallity!
When you were at the ethanol plant and you showed the john deere combine passing you to go to the local field. You could have commented that the combine head had the down corn reel type head on it
Love your videos. Looks like Grant's going to be running a shovel for a while. That's the prettiest cat tree I've ever seen. The kittens are really cute.
Laura just food for thought you have a lot of technology that makes farming more efficient every year as a farm kid many many years ago we had to hand pick our end rows so the tractor could turn around with the picker that the tractor pulled around torture. Thinking about how things improved over time, you ought to do interviews with your grandfather and dad and get an insight on now vs then. Would like to hear how technology 15:01 technology
Well done with starting to fill the trailer. Always fill over the drive axles first as this gives weight to the tyres and helps to move on soft ground as you found in a previous video
Put the corn reel on that head. Make up installation time by going through the down corn and doing a cleaner job.
14:35 id say Laura really means shes alot more content to harvest (sorry i couldnt resist being a bit cheeky to comment it )
You guys are awesome. Reminds me when I was younger and we would visit my Aunt’s farm. It was a blast, and yes they had a ton of barn cats/kittens that we would always want to sneak back home with us when we left.
*"I think I might be a crazy cat lady"* 🤣
Your videos are so entertaining. Keeping the daily's under 20 minutes is great. Love the kittens,
I'm only here to see your happy face & smile!!! Helps my crappy days be better!!!
Laura you are a hoot! I'm a retired farmer/banker and watching your channel brings back lots of fond memories to savor. Your getting lots of immitators BUT - there is ONLY ONE LAURA FARMS! You have a great personality Laura (and Grant is not too bad either). 😊
Down corn is such a stressful pain. Makes you appreciate good standing corn so much. Beautiful Nebraska sunrises and sunsets!
Need to advertise the nail salon you use. Great work ladies !
Grants seem to be losing something he didn't care he dumped. Laura, you have such a good outlook on every single video. I do mean all of them. That's why most come back. Thank you. Grant is getting caught up in the money. It happens. He needs a refresher course on the value of what he has. not in a mean way look, love & be at home.. take it from someone who wasted a lot of time & money. regreatville can creep in. You both are awesome people it seems. Tell Grant thanks for getting up.
Ok Grant, spilling the corn? that's a good way to get in the doghouse.LOL😂
Hey Laura yes who doesn't love a Kitten or a Puppy, and Pepper is so friendly you will miss them when they go to their new homes.
And yes would really love a tour of the Ethanol plant it's so interesting as an alternative energy from plants so let's have a look at this operation .
Cheers Kym
Adelaide
Dried Distillers Grains (DDGS) used for cattle feed
You have to know so much equipment to run your planting and harvest its amazing.
Watching from Massachusetts, the Midwest has so.e genuine people
Happened to I just happened to stumble across your videos and it's just so fascinating to see your life day-to-day farming. Love your videos from Phoenix Arizona.
