The reason people go straight up is because so they have a altitude advantage so the can dive on the enemy and shoot them down

Carrier and Battleship are actually free it's just that one of each them only spawn per round and you can spawn more by spending bobux but you probably already know that

The Default Plane is the best out of all. It mainly has accuracy and fast movement.
I use the big bomber for more bombs
I use the bomber to just speedturn islands

Actually flying up is a strategy I use it’s not them being dumb it’s them yawing a strategy
Elite’s thumbnail: we don’t use nukes

Tips for the game:
-The Battleship is useless if there's only small amount of soldiers in it. So make sure you tell them to use everything in the Battleship, like the Cannon for Damaging Enemy Fleets, it deals massive damaged so use it always! Now for the Machine Gun, it's very nice to use them for chip damage and for Enemy Planes.
For the Carrier. Use it for Optional purposes only. The Carrier is good for carrying allied planes and is very tanky. Make sure you repair the Carrier when it's damaged (only when your nearby to an island)
Now for the Planes my favorite is the Torpedo Bomber, because of it's great accuracy, it's low in bombs, but I use it to destroy enemy planes, And it's very effective. When you used all of your bullets and bombs. Don't be afraid to Kamikaze enemy boats or hijack them. Every damage counts.
Now if you want to use the Plane that cost 5 Coins. Always repair it when you have to. Because that Plane is really expensive, but it's also good for dealing massive damage to enemy harbour or their Ships.
When buying the RPG always use a Plane combined with it and it will be unstoppable. Also you can land to enemy territory and just camp there with your RPG. They can tell you that you're camping and it's not fair, But hey, it's strategy.
Edit: I forgot that there's a missile in the Battleship, it's also very useful for scouting the area and taking down the enemy planes. You also need to use it, if you have to.
It's crazy that it been 2 years ago idk if I recommended u that game but that vid was funny.

Hey dude big tip if you fly high enough and you're on the japanese side the Americans might not see you as youre the color of the sky and you can pull a sneak attack on theyre main base
