@@zachduperron8543 Well at one of my Walmarts for 2 month now they've had one whole section of the shelf empty with the tag for the clones and Ahsoka under them. Hopefully it means they will be over stocking them again. I find they tend to over stock the Star Wars Exclusives and never the Marvel Legend exclusives for whatever reason.

I think this mold would have looked better if they attached the knee pads to the calves. And the elbow pads to the fore arms so that they are in the right place when rotated. I may do that when I (hopefully) get some

The paint on the helmet actually looks better in person than in the promo shots. For some reason, the early shots made the orange much darker with a more reddish hue.
Jesse, Five's, Echo are a MUST HAVE. I hope for many more Clone Commander's in the Black series Neyo and Baccara to finish off the prequel Clone Commander's be sweet to but yeah Colt, Hardcase, Kiks ,Blitz, Gregor, Hammer. Hell I'll take all of them but I would really prefer the Bly and Rex mold.
This mold has potential, but they HAVE to tweak it before releasing another clone. Ditch the helmet completely and make one that's accurate to the live-action version, broaden the shoulders, make the upper torso slightly closer to the waist, then it will be accurate. As far as actual problems with the way it functions, don't glue the kneepads to the top of the knee, and figure out something different for the elbow bands, because the ones they used are way too fragile and break.
They really dropped the ball with that helmet. Even more so I absolutely hate that weird white gap between T-Visor and nose piece. Once you see it, it's hard to unsee.

Very nice, but a *real* 200 IQ move would've been to include a regular 501st helmet along with 'im, "kill two birds with one stone", y'know? That way we could've had both 501st and 332nd Company troopers easily, but nooo... Suppose that's just too hard for them. Nice review! That Captain Rex mold is still the best clone body they've ever put out, I just don't understand why they only used it once (Bly) and used the bad old mold SIX times after Rex came out (Wolffe, Fox, Purge Trooper 1, Obi-Wan, Clone Lieutenant, Purge Trooper 2). This new mold has potential but I seriously hope we do not see another figure on it without some tweaks. The helmet has got to go (Black Series should be the live-action helmet), the torso needs to be shortened, the shoulder pads need to be bigger, the knee pads should be on the lower leg instead of the higher one, and the elbow band needs to be reworked to where it's not gonna break after posing the figure for an hour. As it stands, this mold is just a weird live-action/animated hybrid that's inaccurate to both and doesn't fit with previous clones in the line.
Enjoyed the review! Totally agree that having the paint on the helmet look homemade by the trooper is a great touch! Can't wait for my pre order! Definitely a great point that this figure deserves more than just a repack.
It’s weird I got one off of eBay and the paint job on the helmet was actually way better than how most of the others. There was no white gap between the visor and the “teeth”, the design on the helmet were more clean more like how it looked in show.
Very good looking figure. The Captain Rex looks good but his head is a little small and the ankle articulation is hindered. I recently saw on Ali Express that they're doing a Knock Off of this and the phase one Clonetrooper (new body mold), for approx £12-£14 including shipping, ( should be about the same in $. Centurions Corner did a review of the phase one clone (New mold). Looks great.
They are bound to rerelease Rex for the clone wars line right? Or am I just being very hopeful to actually get a Rex figure because I missed the original rex
I literally just pulled my kamino trooper out of the package and and the right leg was so stiff it snapped off 😐😔 didn’t even push hard on it! Super disappointed..

It'd be fine if they actually kept them in stock but they hardly ever do! Honestly I think everyone kinda loses this way because the scalpers end up making off with all the potential profit here: They go scooping them up and spit 'em back out on eBay for an often outrageous mark-up that makes the $20 look perfectly reasonable and effectively forces you to come to them. It's so frustrating and Hasbro needs to quit practically rewarding them for it since they're getting gipped too, in a way. At the very least they're enabling it with all those willy-nilly exclusives and downright *artificial* "rarity"... Ugh.

Stupid Walmart and it's exclusives, it is just not that easy to get these toys when you live in a country where Walmart or Target doesn't exist. Exclusives are the cancer of collectables.
Has Walmart officially cancelled all the preorders yet in this wave of 4 figures dating back to early July? I assume none of my preorders will ever get fulfilled since Walmart recently decided to roll this wave out in-store, which naturally got consumed instantly by the scum of the earth scalpers like buzzards attacking dead road kill. By the time I realized some of these began to show up in-store on a shipper display it was too late....an entire city supply was wiped out in less than a few hours by local fleabag scum. My only hope of ever seeing these is to pray my preorders actually get honored by Walmart. But considering they’ve already been delayed multiple times I know that’s now wishing thinking.

@@Friedbeanbag not massively in to lego but I love looking at the ridiculously huge builds; star destroyer, helms deep, hogwarts, etc. Just don't have the patience for lego, plus being colourblind throws a spanner in the mix, I do have an overwatch lego set of junkrat and roadhog, that's pretty nice! 😁 (sorry for the essay 😂)

Releasing army builders as exclusives is a very dumb move, Hasbro should be selling these troopers by the case.

It would still be inaccurate. The clone elbow and knee pads are separate pieces all together, so it should not be locked to any piece of armor.

This figure is ALMOST perfect. That helmet sculpt is horrid.
This mold has potential, but they HAVE to tweak it before releasing another clone.
