This helmet is very safe, the face shield is Lexon and really thick and the shell is fiberglass, also, the small has a smaller outer shell then a large, its not just the same shell with different pads.

I'm thinking about buying a new visor for my Simpson helmet.
But i'm not sure if i should buy a dark tint one or a silver mirror visor.
Is the silver mirror visor as dark as the dark tint visor or is it lighter when I look through it?

New subscriber. I just stumbled across your channel. Good stuff man. If you change your Lanesplitter shield to a gen2 it will fix the issue with the shield not staying up. Huge difference. Yea the only reason I didn't go with the Simpson was because of the lack of air ventilation since I live in a hot area and not having a chin curtain.. I love my Latesplitter when I do use it. I've seen people use a piece of leather to cover the front vents if you want to keep it closed. Anyways great fun videos dude!!

Being in Central Texas... I wouldn't be able to wear that with such minimal venting. Over 100 degrees for months. I might get an atlas 2.0 just for the ventilation.. Also no chin guard in a deal breaker for me too, noise reduction is noticeable with a chin curtain in my experience. Cool looking helmet! But not functional for me at all and looks aren't worth that lol
