I have 10-12 helmets, lost count lol, but I picked up a Mod Bandit over the holidays, always wanted a Simpson helmet, now I do👍

@@FXDLSBrooklyn think that’s bad, I just bought a daily ride for the Wisconsin winter, that’s 21 bikes in 14 years, every time I bought a motorcycle, I got a helmet or jacket too lol so I’m pretty well set for the rest of my life lol looking to get a FXDX soon👍
Currently shopping for a modular helmet for summer road trips. I've had great luck with my Simpson Ghost Bandit and I prefer it over my Shoei. Don't get me wrong, the Shoei is a great helmet if you hate your ears.
I'm considering the Simpson Mod but in that price range for the modulars there's a lot of competition. I'm planning a trip to Columbus to Iron Pony for the sole reason of trying on modulars.
I'll admit though as well as the Simpson helmet being extremely comfortable, it does look good hanging on the hook in the mudroom waiting to do battle on America's rural byways!
Yeah my Dad loves it, I have zero experience with it, definitely looks cool!

Interesting on the air movement, I’ve always thought the same thing, not enough vents. It’ll be interesting to see how the helmet vents on other bikes, long term.
I love the Mod Bandit. My only issue is the the inner visor is so close to my RX glasses, I usually hit them putting the shield down and have to tip the helmet back to clear the glasses.
Yeah I could imagine, I never really took full advantage of those drop down visors
I run the speed bandit and its pretty perfect for the price. Kinda barebones, but thats what I like about it.
Yeah my brother-in-law runs that and likes it a lot

It’s the out bandit helmet smaller than the , ghost bandit helmet? I ordered a ghost bandit helmet its pretty big I feel I’d like to have something little smaller and I was looking into the outlaw bandit helmet

Are the extra ear pads smaller or larger than the factory installed pads?
This review made me pull the trigger on one. It's mean, it's intimidating, and it's a world of difference after running open face and 3/4 styled.

@@FXDLSBrooklyn shoot yea. Just the past couple years I started noticing a lot of drag racers and car enthusiast have them as well. Definitely a cool helmet though. You got some sweet rides my guy 🤙🤘

I ran a Lane Splitter for a bit about 6 years ago, I prefer the Outlaw Bandit over it, but at the end of the day everyone's head is different - Either way, two cool looking lids

Cool helmets, the shoei RG-1400 just fits me better
Yeah nothing fits me like my Shoei, that's generally what I always go to for my long hauls
Next helmet I'm going to try out a modular, I've got about 50k miles on my current helmet
As nerdy as they look. I like the flip down tinted 2nd lense models. (Internal sun shield I think they labled it) Cause then I don't have issues at night. Or have to carry a night visor. Just flip the shades up.. Still have clear visor for protection from elements. Honestly ide run amber visor for low light. But I can't really find them anymore
I've always wondered about that, does that amber shade really help with low light situations?

I run a Lexin unit in this with no issues
I just got an Outlaw Bandit and the face protection is very close to my nose/face. Is that normal? Maybe it is just how these are made?
Yeah that's normal - I actually prefer it that way as opposed to the Ghost Bandit

I got the simpson ghost bandit stingrae and love it, id pay the difference and go for that over the cheap outlaw version. I didnt have any issues with the fitment though >

Is it loud? I’ve always heard the wind noise is terrible compared to a Shoei or even the Ghost Bandit
Oh for sure it's definitely noticeably loud - I often don't consider this factor because I always wear ear plugs regardless of what helmet I'm wearing
I honestly am not a fan of these helmets but since you’re advertising it I’m gonna go ahead and get myself one.
Definitely try it on and give it the old 30 minute test to make sure it fits right
looks cheap. glad i didnt buy it. trying to look cool....will always be dumb
