As an active makeup artist, I think the biggest trending things right now are sheer, glowy foundation looks, creamy blush and very glossy lips. I actually noticed a trend around the metalluc eyeliner tip you had, like you said: everything's a trend
What is your recommendation for a good sheer foundation?

glossy lips try Essence Shine Shine Shine its clear. You cannot get any juicier than that product. It also comes in colors. Smells AmaZing. I want to drink it.

I know I have green eyes and it’s the only thing that I have similar to her, good grief I don’t compare. But I thought to myself if her eyes can look like that so can mine.

Hey tati! I know everyone is happy you're back, but let me tell you something. I discovered your channel almost 6 years ago when I moved to Germany. It was actually this time of the year. I remember coming back from uni and watching your videos. That was my routine!! When you left I slowly stopped watching beauty videos and my anxiety went high in my personal life. Now that you're back I feel I came back to my routine and feel eased. It might sound strange but it's true!

This might seem weird but i watched her before going to bed. When she stopped posting I struggled with going to sleep because my routine was messed up

I have the I like to Mauve, Mauve palette. Love it! It's so pretty and it looks good for about 8 hrs. I work 10+ hrs a day, so it's pretty faded after I get done with work, but a little is still there.
Their liquid eyeliner is so good only the tip is too thick to make a pointed wing
I feel as if smaller brands often have high quality products at lower prices because they want to remove stigma of "low price low quality" as oppose to higher end well know brands who sometimes apparently think that they can put sh!t out with high price and people will buy it for the name of it. Thank you for trying this type of brands and products
I also love the fact that she will do the drug store makeup videos for those of us who can't afford the high end expensive makeup. It helps me to know what drugstore is good out there when I'm on a very tight budget! So thank you so much Tati for thinking about those of us that can't afford the expensive makeup.. And you've always stayed humble no matter how famous you have become. You truly are my favorite makeup influencer!! 🤗💜🦋
This has to be one of my favourite Tati eye looks of all time. Don’t get me wrong, all of her eye looks are beautiful-on her-but this one is gorgeous, autumnal, and best of all-wearable!-for us mere mortals! Keep doing what you’re doing, Tati, we’re all cheering you on and so very glad you’re back. 💖
The only “trend” I can see right now is a focus on the eyes….which makes a lot of sense since we are also wearing masks. As someone who appreciates lip products more than eyes, that makes me a little sad (and the thought of lip butter all over the inside of my mask makes me cringe). So great to have you “back” Tati, btw. 🌸
I agree - people talk about light, dewy skin with BB Creams, because of mask wearing, but the thought of that, while wearing a mask, gives me major "Maskne" vibes! I'd rather skip the nice skin part, when it's mostly my eyes that are showing, so I like to spend a little time playing up my eyes with a hint of concealer, eyeshadow, mascara - really make them stand out! I love lipstick too, and haven't bought any new ones - I can't even stand lip balm underneath my mask!
Ive recently been so into blush and gloss and i feel ive perfected the natural from within blush but i always have to wear a mask so i just wear blush at home🥲
Butter gloss in praline is my ride or die, it’s the EXACT colour of my lips. I literally put it on and had a double take, I had to check that I put lip gloss on when I first put it on in low lighting because it looked JUST like my lips but better. But then in full lighting I was like damn that’s good! It’s particularly good for when I’m not wearing foundation, because I love a lighter coloured gloss, but if I’m not wearing foundation they can wash me out. Not with praline!
I was telling my husband the other day that a great part of the satisfaction of a new palate is the memory of finger painting or art with pastels when you were a kid - and he FINALLY got it 😂

Just bought mine and it’s the bomb! It glides right on without having to wing it and readjust to make it perfect. It just goes on effortlessly. Dirt cheap too. Planning to grab few more lol 😂
Omg my kid comes in and asked “that lady almost looks like you.” Sweetest thing he has ever said. And I am also the kid who loves a fresh pack of crayons. Going good back to school shopping is my favorite since I get to smell fresh new crayons.
I really wanted to try the Essence bronzer but if Tati is using the one for “darker skin” then there isn’t a product for me. I don’t understand how companies don’t see anything wrong with this.
I think the cute pink peach cream blush across the nose and high on the cheeks is a gorgeous trend. It's really youthful and so cute and sweet to me.

I've been an active follower since you did couponing in Walgreens. I watched everyday. Makeup is my therapy now and I do my makeup with you lol if you put out ANYTHING I'd watch. If you put out a podcast and it was 4 hours long I'd freaking listen man 🤣 we are here for any and all content.

Love this video!! Those LA liners are fabulous, even the non-metallic ones! I think a trend right now is the darker lipliner with lighter gloss/lipstick - very nineties throwback, just updated.

I agree, Tati. Literally anything can be a trend these days. I learnt early on it's much better to find your own style, what I feel comfortable in and what makes me feel good than to follow trends
Same! Especially when it comes to clothes. I know that I don't suit what's typically on trend so I've always just worn the clothes that I look great in. And I usually get lots of compliments on my style! Plus, going shopping in stores like Zara/Mango/H&M gets so boring as they all just have the same clothes so everyone ends up dressing the same. Luckily, second hand stores are finally becoming popular in Spain!
PSA: People - you do you! Don't feel like you have to fit in and look like everyone else. Whether it's clothes, make up, hair, whatever. Your individuality is what makes you beautiful!

For whatever reason recently (maybe the heat), my mascara keeps printing on my under eyes. The rest of my makeup will still look good after an hour of wear, but the mascara is the first to go. Even with several different brands. Even if I only put it on the top lashes. I don't want to use waterproof too often because it doesn't feel good to take off. Would love to get your tips on this!
Same! Never used to have this problem. I started putting a bit of extra powder (Laura Mercier) on the outside, lower lash line and that helps me a lot. 🤷🏼♀️
Try a tubing mascara! I used to have this problem but a tubing mascara helps bc is water resistant (but not waterproof!)

I've been loving Essence mascara for the last two years. Couldn't get over that their mascara outperformed my usual Benefit's $25 They're Real. I came late to the party in using their eyeshadows. Love them & can't get over the quality & low price point. I now prefer them over my Urban Decay. I picked up Taupe It Up & Like to Mauve It: truly great palettes and $3.99!!! Three weeks ago I bought Brighten Up Banana Powder & this is a new Fab. The Essence Mosaic Blush was a real surprise, too. I just love the quality of these products & price point can't be beat. Nice to know you like them, too.
Also, love the random stories and chats. It’s enjoyable and calming to watch.
