There most likely wasn’t somebody on the clock during that time because you only pick up I think up to 15 hours a week doing it! I’m not sure how many people do it though

So as a former manager and educator for Sephora (who did not sign an NDA) I can confirm that you are talking to an actual person, but they have prompts and specific answers they can reply with that fit your needs as a client. That's why it sounds so formal and robotic. But no there is deff someone there to read your questions and pick a product based on your needs. The following descriptor and reason why they chose that product however is likely Sephora and lvmh verbiage.
There is however a timeout period. For a super in depth one on one you'd want to book a personal assistant appointment at the beauty studio that would be done in person. While the online program is named as a PA service, it's still free and not yours for the entire day and unlimited time.

@@CrissyBeee oh I deff didn't mean for it to come across that way at all, my apologies. I think there is a lot of confusion on how the service works which is actually Sephoras fault for not being more clear. Sorry for the misunderstanding, while explaining how it worked I didn't realize it might sound belittling.
@@CrissyBeee I think that's something that you read as snarky, but that's probably what Sephora tells their employees. It sounds like a canned response to be fair.
I’m a Sephora Beauty Advisor and can confirm that this is a real person. I’ve been considering doing it myself, but as you can imagine it’s pretty hard/competitive to get that position since you can work from home

@@jenma9377 It’s because They’re not supposed to be on the chat with one customer for more than 8 minutes and if they are they’ll lower their customer per hour scores.

@@Miles.. I didn’t know that! Sounds somewhat similar to what my store’s been doing in person as well. But I try and spend as much time as I can (sometimes half an hour) with clients because I want them to get everything they need :)
i worked chat tech support for Verizon and i would always get asked if i was a “real person” 🤣 it was the worst. i would say “yes im real” and some customers would say “thats exactly what a robot would say”
I always say "last time I checked" :P

I use Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. It’s a life savor for me. I went from having to wash my hair everyday to only washing my hair twice a week. I highly recommend it!
Moroccanoil Dark Tone Dry shampoo, I own a salon and hands down our clients purchase and repurchase it over every other dry shampoos we carry over all the others they’ve used!

The look turned out beautiful (as always)! I used to use dry shampoo prior to working out. Works in that same way a deodorant does. Or for after, look for a dry shampoo that specifies post workout. Ouidad makes a good one. It works on absorbing sweat as opposed to most that work on absorbing oils.

This was a fun video idea! I really enjoyed it! Another fun one would be if you went into a Sephora store and had James film as you ask an associate for their personal recommendation on all of these items. Maybe providing them with the list of all the items you're looking for and asking them upfront if it's okay to film for a fun products review video would make them more comfortable
