- The Book of Mormon contains many cherished stories of faith and courage. One such story tells of a brave man named Samuel who, amid opposition and great personal danger, stood upon a city wall and proclaimed to a wicked and sinful populace that within five years the Savior, Jesus Christ, would be born. He urged the people to repent and return to God, but he was met with scorn.
Samuel predicted many things that would precede the Savior’s birth, including a new star appearing in the sky. The faithful believed in Samuel’s prophetic words. And sure enough, five years later, all of Samuel’s prophecies were fulfilled, including a new star shining brightly in the heavens.
“And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you.” -Helaman 14:5

Extremely well done. The account of Samuel the Lamanite is one of my favorite because of Samuel's courage to stand for our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. What an awesome time to share this Book of Mormon account.
I love this story because I feel that the day Christ was born, His birth and the Star LITERALLY ended up saving lives. And with so many lives at stake and Christ telling Nephi to "Lift up your head and be of good cheer...." ha! Not the first thing I'm sure he wanted to hear but then Christ said that night He was going to come to the world, Nephi felt peace after that. So for me both these stories tell of God's timing. And if we're living faithful and doing what we know we're supposed to be doing even if we have the faith as I'm sure Samuel and those to give our lives to Him, we'll be okay. But it really is His timing and I love how out also shows that with that timing it's worth it in the end and that we're NEVER EVER truly alone.

My kids absolutely love this short. It is so well done. I hope that the church will continue to come out with more videos in this style. The rhyming also lends its self well to memorization. My 4 year old walks around saying it all the time and it makes me so happy.

It will be a super thing to do if a parent made their children watch a episode in the AM & let them think upon what they watched all day, let them tell what they thought of the episode & they will get another episode the next day

Repent and believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus says in John 15:10, ”If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love.” Obey Jesus if you don’t it will be the worst decision of your life and if you die without accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you will be burning for eternity. Obey God don’t choose hell it’s horrible , do what Christ says and you will receive eternal life.

Like Samuel, we can be missionaries in our own special way. We can teach others in schools or parks. We can make a website that teaches others. We can write stories that talk about the church. We can also do service. There are many ways.
