    Thank you for the great video! we appreciate you sharing our tools in such a balanced and clear way, we always appreciate the feedback and love sharing it with Engineer to continuously find ways to improve the product range. We saw a few comments made about the similarity of the products with Engineer and we love that folks find a sweet spot with both depending on their needs. Vampire Tools has more than 10 years exclusive partnership with Engineer to co-develop high quality, unique tools for the North American market. Vampire Tools products are built to a higher quality standard and come with extended warranty and US support. We offer an extra year on top of the four years we have right now.

    Thanks for the great videos! I have gotten quite a few items you've suggested and they have done wonders.
    I just ran into a couple of situations earlier this week that these pliers would've been great for. Rusted out screws and a very round security screw with an odd bit. I made it work with Knipex Cobras but it was a process.

      Yeah we can always get many things done with less tools, but having the right tool keeps you from having to fix a fist size hole in drywall 😂

    Always been fascinated by them but then held off once the twin grips came out. I think though your video made me decide to “spring” for those pliers though. Mahalo Nui Loa Morgan🤙

      Having some of different sizes is useful. I’m hoping someday Knipex comes out with a smaller version of Twin Grips 👍👍

    Apparently you can strip wires by putting wire through the hole slot in the blade then squeeze the handle and twist around the wire. I'm guessing it won't work great, but in a pinch.

    Nice review as always. On the Boss pliers, you could always remove the spring if it annoys you! Those are both nice tools!

    The Boss Pliers look to be very similar to the PZ59 from Engineer Tools that I have. They aren't spring-loaded and have slightly different jaw features. I do believe that Engineer make some of the tools for Vampire Tools.

      I have been told they are one in the same…. After having one of each would think they are made by the same people.
      Both pairs/brands do what they claim very well.

    Knipex spring-loaded tools usually have this nice, auto-operated, locking mechanism. Otherwise spring-loaded tools are a bit annoying when stored.
    As I mentioned before - these handles look like a nightmare to clean. A big disadvantage for me.
    And I can play a fortune-teller and foretell the fortune/misfortune of that scissor sheath.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  9 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah they are very much the same handles as the Engineer ones I bought.
      The Knipex Forged Wire Strippers Lock is really great and in a perfect location. It’s the first pair of spring loaded strippers I didn’t have to give up on. They are also hands down the best pair of strippers I’ve ever held in my hands, will never use anything else.

    • @Stefan_Kawalec
      @Stefan_Kawalec 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@MORGANSMaintenance I meant the locking mechanism built in the handles. You press the handles as for normal operation and it releases the lock.
      And of course that detent lock is also great. I see some serious German engineering in its placement - someone thought that really well.

      @MORGANSMaintenance  9 месяцев назад

      @Stefan_Kawalec 👍 you can tell when a tool was made by someone that uses tools.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance I've got a bunch of Engineer tools that I use for PCB work, I've taken to putting a little hair tie through the lanyard loops to act as a little locking mechanism just so it stays tidier in my soldering gear bag. The tools are great, and I love using spring loaded pliers and cutters, but yeah, actually storing them is a pain.
