Really enjoyed this video, however, I think you left out the fact that Dick took the name Nightwing from one of the two costumed superheroes of the bottled city of Kandor: Nightwing and Flamebird. Also, it would have been nice if you touched on Nightwing's time in Bludhaven.
Y’all should have covered the Grayson comic run! It was amazing and shows a fight between Bruce and Dick that took place all over the batcave. Then leading to Bruce and him having a great moment together
Nightwing is my favorite Batman family member! Chuck Dixon's run on is what started me on reading and liking Nightwing. Tim Steely's run made Nightwing cool again in my eyes but when he became Rick, I was upset. But Dick Grayson is back being Nightwing written by Tom Taylor who making a big deal again.
I imagine in a different realm, the alternate version of future Batman aka TERRY McGINNUS, he has an ex-sidekick who later becomes NIGHTWING, and he is a huge fan of both the first BatMan, and of the 1st. NightWing.
I read somewhere once that out of all the Robins, Nightwing is the one Joker legitimately hates the most. When I brought it up to my uncle, he said it's because the Joker has never broken Nightwing the way he did other members of the Bat-Family, due to Nightwing being too much like Batman.
Call me crazy Night Wing is a great fighter, but additional assets aren't things Batman depends on. Yes, Batman uses various things, but he uses only one weapon consistently. The upside of Night Wing's weapons is that he saves his fists from continuous damage.
I thought about it just now just looking at Nightwing & the Batman universe. Instead of McGuiness being the new Batman Dick Grayson is the Batman beyond with retro remix fusion of Batmans classic gray & blue color with Nightwings Emblem with some Legends Of The Batman styling
Dick was the first boy wonder adopted by Bruce Wayne after the Grayson clan were deceased in the circus show in jump city he has his team Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Raven with the rest of the team known as the Teen Titans in how long is forever while stopping warp Starfire traveled to the future and met Nightwing as the former Robin while Tim Drake became the new boy wonder.
@@Artryom actually, he was at the beginning of the 2nd season, where Starfire traveled 20 years into the future to find Cyborg bound to Titans Tower, Beast Boy ending up as a sideshow attraction the mutant punks would tease, Raven finding solitude at an abandoned Arkham Asylum, and Robin still fighting crime, only under the guise of Nightwing, besides, the 2003 Teen Titans animated series focuses on Dick Grayson, years before Tim Drake became Robin
@@damianprock1650 Where was he then? Because the only Robin introduced and existing in the series was Dick Grayson. He was the only Robin, the only Nightwing obv, the only Leader of the OG Teen Titans like usual...
(21:21) Jason "Dodd?" Did this man seriously just call Jason TODD, "Dodd?" Wow. Goes to show, the people speaking about these characters don't know a thing about them in all reality. They're just reading off a script.
I don't think that Nightwing was ever shown on the Batman Beyond (A.K.A. Batman of the Future outside of North America.) Nightwing was only mentioned in the series and the direct-to-home media animated film named Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone out there will correct me. 😏
in the comics Kingdom Come Robin and Starfire actually have a daughter that is set in a different reality. She resembles starfire, but she has long black straight hair
When you have had training from the best of the best in senseis, detectives, all-out street fighters and just straight up beast(Batman), is it any wonder that Nightwing is just a straight up G in the Marvel/DC Universe?
Is it wrong for me to say that after hearing about his excellent leadership skills that Dick would make a better leader than Steve Rogers? And it's Jason Todd not Dodd.
Um no Could Grayson take over the role if he wanted? Sure but is he the best successor? No and I’m glad so nightwing is his own man and his own hero he never wanted to be like Batman even Batman wanted him to be better. But Terry McGinnis on the other hand is LITERALLY a perfected version of Bruce, he’s the Genetics the training and natural skill to be the best successor to Batman and just like Dick he isn’t consumed by his trauma
Nightwing is the 4th most popular character in dcuniverse behind the trinity three Dick do things better than Batman Nightwing has a 100% trust on his team titans Batman is paranoid against his own Jla With contingency plans on them When Batman was rich before he lost one third of his money in the joker war saga Batman never gave all his money to invest in Gotham to make it better Dick was the opposite he invested all his billions of dollars to bludhaven for everybody To have a job plus dick money will grow while it’s been invested in bludhaven
He should be the successor but writers always make the robins a pack of cry baby’s.. Batman keeps secrets from me waaaaa waaaah I’m gonna join the titans now they all end up abandoning Batman in the future which pissed me off making me like Terry McGuiness the real successor! Dick Grayson spends to much time trying to get out of Batman’s shadow instead of embracing it
I really love Chuck Dixon's and Peter Tomasi's Nightwing comic series.

I'm glad you guys decided to do it !!! Cannot wait for the rest of the Gotham Knights

I love nightwing he's really awesome and tons of fun.
Dick Grayson is the true successor of the Bat. Damien may have the blood but Grayson has years of experience as the Boy Wonder.

Hopefully, when it comes to the 6th season, Starfire and Nightwing would be married and have a daughter together
Tim Drake was never in Teen Titans 2003 though, wtf…?
