Hey Darren. So I think it's in my radio. With a servo tester I can get full 130° travel with my servo , with the TX I'm only getting abkut 80‐90° I've messed with end points and nothing is making a difference
Can we change the logo on a third party widget with the same approach ? I have seen the logo picture inside the folder of the widget… What is your suggestion ? I didnt want to jump on it and try…
I don’t follow you. I’ve been changing this logo for many months now. It works as shown in the video. You don’t need to do anything to models. It is a system wide image.
@@MrD We are not on the same page. My fault. I think we are making reference to three different screens and I don't know which of them are you making reference right now. Your video shows how to change the Ethos logo at the top of the model screen. In my first message, I was making reference to the default model screen, where I actually change that default to just show the model bitmap in full screen. In my last message, I was making reference to the boot screen that shows for a few seconds when you power on the transmitter. Therefore, when you say you have been doing that for months, which of the three screens are you making reference to?
Hi, Darren. I was just playing yesterday with the boot screen (the one that opens up when you power on the radio or change the model) This screen has very useful information, and therefore you don't want to lose it. However, regardless of which order you move your screens around, that screen always shows first. So, here is the trick. First, you design one screen that is a copy of the default boot screen. Then you modify the boot screen to a single block, (not the one named "Full Screen") and there I choose model Bitmap, and as bitmap, you can use whatever png you want (following the size rules), and voila, you have your own boot screen. (I used the model bitmap as a double reminder of which model I will be flying, to which I over-imposed my logo using GIMP2). Please, feel free to produce a video on this if you want. Cheers.
That’s pretty cool. But its not the boot screen. The boot screen is the yellow FrSKY logo when you first power on the radio. Before the checklist screen.
@@MrD Thank you for the correction. You are right. I'm glad I described what I was talking about to avoid confusion with the terminology. Anyways, what do we call the default model screen?
@@MrD Actually, I will look if I can change the boot screen with a logo following the process you described, but first I will see if I can create a widget for the model default screen.
Do you know of a website that has non-flying vehicles? I need machine icons.
Sorry, I only know of aircraft sites.
Frsky R9M qx7 ACCESS Bluetooth Android, no data
Dear Darren, , great idea works with frsky's access protocol? I can't get results with telemetry viewer,

NICE!!! 👍
Thanks! 👍
That was one of the easiest, useless, however self satisfying tips to date! cool

It should work. You may not even need to use bootloader for that.
@@MrD , wow it did :)
Sorry Darren. Actually you cannot change the bitmap on the screen, unless you use the model and logo superimposed everywhere.

@@richardraimondo612 you can’t change the boot logo. It is compiled in the firmware.
Always something new to learn from you 🙂
