It's a wonderful place to live and, of course, it's the home of Sligo Rovers, Westlife, W.B Yeats,Countess Markievicz, Irish football International Paul McGee, Traditional band Dervish, Country star Patrick Feeney and the County is steeped in a rich history of traditional music with the Coleman Music Centre and many other outstanding features. @magiclard sligo is one of the most worthwhile places in ireland to visit... just look at the photos and videos of everything natural and manmade in the town and county... the town has tons of culture, there's always exhibitions of history and art on in the summer... and the food is great if you know where to look.. i reccommend Lyons on Wine St in Sligo town! make sure to take in the wonders of leitrim too such as Parke's castle and lough gill on the boat tour or by car!
