muk getting super gem store skins AND elder wood trident in the same roll is why i love this game and this guy so much
As some ppl stated, recomend to do all cheap armor skins before opening this.
Those extra toes at 12:50 are one of the funniest things I've seen XD

What's great about the unlocks is that you can get pretty much anything from them that isn't a legendary item. I didn't keep exact track, but you definitely got several thousand gems and hundreds of gold worth of gem store and Black Lion skins unlocked from all that, in addition to the more mundane items.
Neat to see that even the Mighty Mukluk (which is what I assume "MM" stands for) still finds things in GW2 he didn't know existed.
I definitely recommend getting all the cheap skins before attempting this as well.
You don't want to get a Green Wood Level 5 crafting weapon out of these.

The Dragon's Jade weapons are pretty old, that's an awesome find, i've had that on my ranger for a few years at least!
They must be about ten years old at this point, because I used the staff and focus for quite a while before HoT came out. I remember being absolutely blown away by the detail. I think they were the most detailed skins in the game at the time they were introduced. And they are used by a lot of EoD NPCs.
I keep meaning to do the same and clean out the easy stuff...I too never get around to it.
its also quite expensive if you are missing a lot of it :P

"I wish i could click on these and see them more easily" i know i'm a little late, but doesn't clicking on the skin unlock pop-up (not the achievement progress pop-up) open a preview window for that piece of gear?

I’ve saved mine as well, bought all karma related skins, and everything up to 10gold.. hoping to unlock some juicy stuff
I just started using my armor unlocks since i bought every skin under 200g. Still waiting to use my weapon, and guaranteed wardrobe unlocks though
You did pretty well all things considering. I waited too and i get a black lion skin almost every time.
I spent a furtune on unlocking all 'cheap' dyes, minis, weapon- and armor skins, as well as karma skins before I used these. I ended op with some black lion and other skins I never use. So beware on spending too much gold on a ton of cheap crap. It was good for account value on gw2efficiency tho.
Wow, I'm amazed at the quanntity of basic skins he didn't unlock. :D
A comment for the algorithm; I would have saved the weapon unlocks for last and the done the wardrobe unlocks first, but Mukluk can make that decision 4 years from now when he’s ready to do this again.
The BL weapon collections are surprisingly cheap when they come into the rotation. You get more gold value from your unlocks using them first and then cleaning the board for the wardrobe unlocks which should always be opened last.
@@nejiisurgodBut there are soo many skins, it's much cheaper to buy all the armor stuff. You are left with mostly gem store items, so in this case it's probably worth opening them last if you're gonna use all your unlocks.
I'm gonna use it first though as I have cleared most of the armor up to 30 gold or something and don't wanna wait for the weapons and other stuff to be ready 😄

You see that thing on the right that looks like an achievement has just been completed but says "... skin unlocked" ? Click it to preview said skin. That's it. Very simple
We tried that, didn't work. That is the reason we had to do it in this way.

I don't know if anyone said this yet, but I'd 100% recommend using what Gold you have and buying every single skin you don't have from the Auction House first especially cheap ones just to help gaurantee you get something cool from the unlock chests. nothing worse than getting a 1 silver skin from it lmfao.

You don't even have that many great minis but you got nova griffon hatchling... damn you that is a couple hundred gold worth (as of writing 199g value on gw2eff).
And the puppy is also 400 gems. Though the brackish skale was avoidable.

You do know - in the meantime at least - that clicking on the item on the right hand side will open them in your previous.
Here I thought Muk had nigh everything in the game. Some of the parts can be bought for karma from heart vendors
I should have done this I had 7 years of junk....literally junk. This game is a horders paradise.
Being an obsessive collector since launch I have a stack of these I can't use. After finding out to my horror many years ago that you can have items drop from them that are easily crafted, bought with karma, come from achievements or quest rewards I went all out using wardrobe unlock analyzer and made, bought, or got from the trading post as many as I could before I started using them again.
To get more value out of lootboxes Anet should allow us to exchange lootbox items such as these for gems. Right now, just as with some countries in Europe, my country is looking at banning lootboxes, that would be a revenue loss for Anet, if they had more value maybe they wouldn't be so keen in doing so.

it's funny to see Muk get a bunch of charr exclusive itens he'll never use and various head gear that he will also never use cause they're not wizard hats. I have a couple of those in my bank that I don't open for the exact same reason as you.

Yes, how annoying it is when you get a new skin and you get the notification pop-up that clicking on it does not bring up a preview as literally everyone tries to do? WTF ANET?
Oh dear. Muk, when you unlock a new skin, you can click the popup of the unlock to preview it immediately. You spent so long searching each one >.
When I click the popup of the unlock it just opens my equipment panel with what I'm currently wearing (not the dressing room). Which is why we did this method.
Are these just from BL chests or another way to get them?

Bow previews are THE WORST. The character practically never holds the bows horizontally except in the previews and it makes previewing them so hard...
I'm sure you hear this all the time Muk but that inventory..... PLEASE do something about that inventory.......it makes my eyes bleed. Also, the chests. Click on the chests instead of just letting them sit there bouncing! GAH!

The opening was mostly disappointing.
