Nothing is wrong with the mall. It's of international standard. Igbos like street trading. The traders don't like law and order. They have already started occupying the newly renovated Aba-PHarcourt Road. Soon everywhere will be littered with garbage and flood will destroy the road again. Store and mall owners should also lower their prices. You can't recoup your investments overnight in real estate

Wrong location. There wasnt any major commercial activity going on in that area when te place was built. It looks more like a residential area

One thing I see that it doesn't look like a mall and it can't function as one because it looks lie student hostel to me. So the man has the money and don't have the wisdom on how malls work.
    Thank you, sir.

Perhaps the lack of good ventilation and adequate plumbing are the bane of this structure. Inside the mall at capacity, with shops and shoppers, compounded by the usual hot temperature in Anambra State, might not be conducive for normal daily human activities.

People living in Anambra don't use to live luxury.
Boutique is the worst business in Onitsha because all of them go to main market. Try to understand this.

  • @fmskido

Sometimes, one wonders why our businessmen will not hire reputable international firms to help them manage and operate some activities. If this mall were managed by a reputable foreign organization, I'm sure they would find ways of ensuring proper maintenance of the property and leases to businesses that would like to operate at the mall. The good thing is that it isn't late to turn the place around.
Just hire a cleaning company to wash every spot, repaint the shops in WHITE or a bright color used in modern malls to enhance natural lighting, and then clean up the environment and parking lot.
