The less said about Die Hard 5 the better, that director sucked ass already.

Jeannot Szwarc (Jaws 2) for example still directs. He's not out of work. He just directed a Desigantaed Survivor episode, and has directed Greys Anatomy, Bones and Smallville. But yes. Some films CAN effect directors film making careers.

For one and probably the biggest flaw, Robin Williams was supposed to act as a ten year old, but instead he acts more as a four year old. Even all the actual ten year olds in the movie act absolutely nothing like Jack does. And most of the direction was just weird, and the movie doesn't even know what tones it should be in at times. And not to mention so much kiddy humor and horribly written cliched scenes. There are so much other similar movies that are made much better than Jack.

It annoys me that people can't understand that when Superman says to Batman "save Martha", Batman chose's not to kill him because their Mom's had the same name. It was because it made Bruce see Clark's humanity in that moment, and he realizes that Clark has is part of a family, and loves and loved by others. In that moment Batman decides not to become what he started fighting to begin with a murdered who kills a man in cold blood like what was done to his Mother and Father.
