Amaterasu: Sun god

You mean Yamata no Orochi the 8 headed snake that he put to sleep and then killed it and got the legendary sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, which came from the tail of Yamata no Orochi, along with the Yata no Kagami mirror and Yasakani no Magatama jewel/orb

There is no winner because it was never a fight to begin with. It's true that Itachi can kill Sasuke if he seriously tried. But the only one who thinks it's an actual fight is Sasuke and the viewers. All Itachi did was provoke Sasuke, probably testing him and then letting himself get killed by Sasuke while under the effects of some unknown disease, probably tiburculosis and die like that while in hopes that Sasuke wouldn't be taken in by Madara and continue on with his life, and that would be that.

2. Itachi had pushed Sasuke to deplete his chakra in order to bait Orochimaru. He knew Orochimaru was within Sasuke and wanted to rid Sasuke of Orochimaru knowing what harm Orochimaru could actually do. The entire fight was to seal Orochimaru and take said "power" away from Sasuke to keep hom from danger.

2. You've seen Itachi use amaterasu very early in the series when he and Kisame escaped Jiraiya's toad stomach

Actually. Most of the Uchiha's would have been weaker than Kurenai in Genjutsu. She really is a Genjutsu genius. Keep in mind. The powerful Genjutsu users of the Uchiha are the ones with Mangekyō Sharingan. Which at this point its just Madara & Itachi (I know their is one more, but I won't say his name for spoilers). Besides the fact that she really isn't good at anything else besides Genjutsu. P.S. It really makes me sad how Kurenai's only real arc was a filler arc, and it wasn't even about her. Yakumo Kurama is ARGUABLY the only non Uchiha who could beat Itachi in a Genjutsu fight (She was filler, but it was one of few Naruto fillers that were actually interesting)

Kirin (the thunderclap) is a deadly move, but it requires a lot of environmental awareness and manipulating to create a lightning storm. But such a move is able to be blocked, the third of Itachi’s Mangekyo Sharingan’s arsenal - the Susanoo.
Like Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, Susanoo is the name of a Shinto deity, Susanoo ruling the seas and storms.
Orochimaru’s sealing means that Sasuke’s cursed seal is gone too, meaning no more wing arms. But Itachi left him a replacement.
Wow, i gotta apologize, i made the assumption that you wouldn’t understand naruto like how us teens understand it. But, your analytic skills are really there. It amazes me that you were able to track the different perspective of how sasuke see the village compared to itachi. I love debating about naruto, as much as i do though, not a lot of people recognize these kind of things. So in terms it makes it look as if though i create my own facts when in reality, if they watch it, it went exactly like how i present it. Itachi's susano'o is so crazy op its insane
Bacause he has the Totsuka blade and the Yata Mirror that can completely negate any attack, whether it be spiritual, or physical.
Madara susano is Blue, Sasuke Susano is Purple, Obito/Kakashi susano was teal, and Itachi had a red one.

Totsuka blade + Yata mirror (I think those are the names of the spiritual weapons) made Itachi godlike... 1shot is all he needs, plus he's got an impenetrable defense. No wonder an illness had to kill him lol. It is also hard to believe he was winning the Shuriken throw scene since Sasuke had to use the summon tags in his wrists, while Itachi was able to make hand signs and spot every shuriken while almost blind, makes you wonder how strong he would have really been if he were not sick haha

Calme yes he was he wanted to free him which is why he pushed him to his limit and then some to extract and seal Orochimaru and the tap on the forehead was him transferring the mangekyo to sasuke as a defense against madara/tobi

You can´t see it in this video since Curtis edited it out but there is a part were Orochimaru says he will take over Sasukes body and vor a second you can see Itachis expression growing murderous like "Don´t you dare, bitch!" before he attacks him. Clearly shows how much he loves his little brother and wants to protect him.

Thank you for noticing Itachi's final act was to tap Sasuke's forehead like he did when they were kids. I've seen SO many reactions where people don't notice
so quick summary, the reason itachi died was cause he was sick, he had a deadly disease and it would eventually kill him, but the strain of the fight decreased his stamina and he just succumbed, the best guess is that he since he was showing hemoptysis (the coughing up of blood or blood-stained mucus from the bronchi, larynx, trachea, or lungs) he either had lung cancer, or an infection such as tuberculosis, bronchitis, or pneumonia
Itachi took out both Sauske and Orochimaru. And that Orochimaru was stronger than his normal self because of the summon

Itatchi was told to kill sasuke. So he fight him and purposely lost so he wouldn't have to kill his brother. That is why he let himself get injured earlier in the fight.
If he wanted he could have had Sasuke at any moment if he was fighting seriously. Itatchi was a genius and a prodigy. There was no contest between the two ninja.
Also does anyone else think Sussano is the biggest bs ability for the Sharingan. I can understand Tsukuyomi, the strongest ocular genjutsu and Amaterasu, burns everything in the users eye sight. But what is the logic with Sussano and it being connected to the Sharingan? What does a par of eyes have to do with creating a giant living shield golem?

when itachi pokes sasuke on the forehead and smiles he says “sorry sasuke this it” in one version, and “sorry sasuke this is the last time” depending on weither its dub or sub. and in the manga he says “sorry sasuke there wont be a next time”

It’s not really a fight, but it’s still worth the reaction video if you really want to learn more about the backstory. I think you’ll be quite surprised to the true meaning of this fight.

Itachi was deathly ill and was still able to go toe to toe with "the chosen one" Itachi was an incredible ninja who wouldve changed the course of history no matter what time he was born in.

The power gap between Itachi and Madara is like comparing Jiraiya without sage mode to all six Pains combined fighting seriously.

Madara was defeated by hashirama though.. the only reason he is so powerful later on is by implanting hasirama's cells and gaining the rennigan.. and being reanimated.. if itachi had implanted shisui's eye.. and remember itachi fought nagato and sealed him..
hinata R 1. Yeah but Hashirama is considered a literally god and Madara still almost beat him. 2. Yes if Itachi had Shisuis eyes he could wreck... exactly two people seeing as Shisuis Sharingan can only be used once every 10 years. 3. I'm not quite sure how much you can trust the power accuracy of the Nagato fight so I wont comment on that. Still I'm pretty sure that base Madara back in his living days is still quite a bit stronger than Itachi at full strength. (Itachis still REALLY powerful but not quite on the legendary level that Madara and Hashirama have.)

Itachi was a Tai jutsu user as well as technically owning one the strongest Sharingan in the anime.
He wasn't eternal mangekyo, but he still was able to see the tablet as a lie.... Unlike the dumbass that is Madara.
Btw.... Madara was low key dead during this episode.

Kirin is easily the most visually appealing Jutsu in the series. No other Jutsu (Kekai Genkai DON'T count) comes even CLOSE to having the same level of Shape Transformation as Kirin. It's also easily my favorite Jutsu in the show.

Just to make it clear the plant looking guy wasn’t talking to anyone else, the one that kept asking question is the white half and the one answering is the black half, so basically talking to himself though technically they are two entities. Not a spoiler, it’s just something people get unnecessarily confused about. So um.. yeah.

Thats actually exactly how its spelled, its named after the mythical being "Kirin" (alternately known as "Qilin / 麒麟" ) a being in mythology said to protect nature and punish the wicked in Taoism.
Itachi supposedly had a lung diseases which is why he was coughing up blood. Itachi never hated sasuke nor did he want to kill his clan. He was a member of anbu (basically a leaf village equivalent to spec ops) and a member of a Uchiha clan. The uchiha were planning coup de ta against the village government for the unjust treatment. Itachi knew the strength of the Uchiha clan alone may possibly be enough to take on the whole leaf village in a war. The war would cost many lives of thousands of deaths from the leaf as opposed to the uchiha which may be a few hundred. He made the decision to prevent the war by killing every uchiha except his brother. There is even a scene where it shows itachi crying as he kills his mom and dad. True. There are characters more powerful. But itachi was the perfect ninja. He could do it all while dying from an incurable disease, nearly blind and holding back, all while still being feared as one of the deadliest. Had he been allowed to grow to his full power i am sure he would have reached the heights of the best.

U cant erasure amaterasu. The burn never stops, so how sasuke removed it from his wing because itachi removed it.
Itachi was not fighting Sasuke, he was just waiting for the snake to reveal itself so he could seal him.
