Parking is the best at Dodger stadium. Other than that it’s kind of garbage with nothing to do if you show up early. Especially compared to other stadiums. Dodger dogs used to be awesome until they switched companies.
I recommend parking behind The Douglas (a local dodger bar) and grabbing a burger and beer before the game! Walking up the hill isn’t for everyone but to me it’s all part of the experience. 💙⚾️
Hmm I got to try this, The only other time I parked outside the stadium was for the Homerun derby and I parked at Union station, good experience I went to Placita Olvera to eat before the game. Loved it
Sometimes people complain about the parking situation. I live in Seattle now and t-mobile park has one parking garage that doesn’t fit nearly enough cars for the size of the stadium. Because of this people use private lots that range anywhere from $45 to $90. The closer you get to the stadium the more expensive it is. That $45 parking lot can be a mile away.
@@ReyesCreatesTVit’s not all bad though, there’s plenty to do around the stadium that is walking distance, lots of bars and restaurants. The stadium where the Seahawks/sounders play is across the street and there’s a concert venue in between them, and in the summer there all three venues will be used at the same time. Traffic and parking becomes a complete mess.
There’s like 6 parking garages within two blocks of t mobile park. The main mariner garage, lumen field, king 5 and a few more. We also have light rail trains proving low cost transportation from the north end and south end. The stadium is easily accessible by foot, bike or bus from downtown and Much better than a random parking lot only easily accessible by car
@@MelissaAndAlex that’s correct and those lots are privately owned and the prices do fluctuate. I’m a dodger fan that lives in Tacoma WA so most of the games I see at T-mobile park are when the dodgers are in town and the parking garage on Edgar Martinez dr with a skybridge to the stadium was $90 to park. I’ve gone when the tigers came to town and parking then was $55. I understand that the dodgers are more popular than the Tigers and that’s why the price changes. I did find a lot on Columbia and 1st ave that charged a reasonable $30 but dude…it looks shady. I’ve parked there a few times for different events and thankfully nothing has happened. It’s a mile walk to the stadium but it feels shorter. And you see that you’re not the only one walking to the stadium, it does add to the atmosphere in a good way . Definitely having a lot to do around the area helps. I did mention the public transportation situation, for me it’s not there yet but 2035 is right around the corner. Currently I would have to drive 30 minutes to Tukwila to get on a 45 minute train ride to get to the stadium. Or I can just drive 45 minutes from Tacoma to T-mobile park directly. And if used public transportation that way it is now then it becomes a two hour trip one way. I have young kids so I’m not putting them on a 2 hour bus ride at 10pm. If it was me and a friend then maybe.
The stadium was built in the era of isolation for large venues, similar to Angels Stadium. Unlike the more current trend of building stadiums downtown like Padres or Giants. These monstrosities are not pedestrian friendly to ANY business/retail at all, nothing can be walked to once you enter the parking lots. It's either tailgate or eat their over priced "food".
That was very well said @kendallevans4079 I just started thinking of all the smaller stadiums being built in LA and you are 100% correct you can definitely get out and go straight to a bar or restaurant at BMO stadium or Sofi Stadium
Before the incident at Dodgers stadium you were able to get into the parking lot 2hrs early park anywhere and crack open beers. As long as you weren’t to crazy about they didn’t bother you. What a shame.
@@ReyesCreatesTV I was fortunate to take a family holiday from Australia in 2014. I’ve been a Dodgers fan since the early 80s. Due to the traffic that day we couldn’t get there early enough to check out Chavez Ravine. I was in heaven. I know I’ll go back again. There are 2 Dodger fans in my family and 2 Giants fans👎🏻 Keep this a secret… I had to go watch a Giants game at AT&T park 10 days later.
2hrs before the game? I pregame 5hours before. Hit up a local dive bar for an hour or so, then head to the parking lot open time. Park and spark a spliff and crack a tall can with the homie. All that will still cost cheaper than 2 beers in the stadium 😂 #RaiderTailgateLife
Magic Johnson got rid of the "Farmer John " brand hot dogs, which were excellent. And only 2 dollars for a dodger dog. He switched to a low quality hot dog co. to save money. and now charges $34.99 for a hot dog. He ruined the experience. He knows nothing about baseball. Baseball is 2 dollar hot dogs .One dollar peanuts. 2 dollar beers and baseball.
Great video amigo !!
Mucha gracias compa!
Pro tip go to a padres game
I been to a few games in SD it was cool walking out and hitting the bars. And I went on beer night where beers where like $5 from a keg lol 😂 dope

Parking is garbage and is not easy. So congested and confusing. So if you're saying that's the best part of the stadium, that really leaves nothing

The entire Dodger Stadium is gorgeous.

Wait what! No way! That’s crazy! Good to know. People around Dodger Stadium use their back and front yards as parking and charge like $10 bucks

I remember when Reserve Section tickets behind home plate were $10 each.
2 hrs before the game? If you're not in your car lined up Chavez Ravine, waiting to get in, you're gonna miss the game.
i also get the little wooden bat from all the stadiums. Nice man!
Glad I’m not the only one haha 😮💨

Thank you 🙏 😊 I was really nervous for this one
Dodger Dog not the same anymore
I agree we need a new dog in town like the “LA DOG”
2hrs stuck in traffic... FTD!
I go 2 hours before the game NO TRAFFIC lol 😂
@ReyesCreatesTV 2hrs before 2hrs of traffic
They need to bring back the Louisiana dog back even if it cost a couple of dollars more!! The new Dodger dog is horrible tasting. 🤮
I haven’t messed with the Dodger dog this year. We need like a LA Style Street Dog
@ReyesCreatesTV YES !! That would work great 👍 like a bacon's wrap dog
LA style with the grilled onions and peppers 🌶
NOT tail gate in the parking lot that's for sure...fans ruined that.
Foreals man, i remember those days they we badass!
