The problem I see with all of these charger boxes is that you can't use them to store your mic's as they will discharge them over time. I purchased one thinking I could place the mic's in the box, close the lid, charge the battery and then leave them there until the next job. Well, when the next job came around a few days later, all batteries were depleted. Sent it back!
would overcharging be a problem with this case? I am always worried as my GoPro Hero 9 batteries are bloated due to overcharging issues. If this is not the case, then I am buying this for sure. Please could someone answer this, thanks

I got the Rode with one mic. Then found it's better to have the two and not need than to have the one and need two. LOL So I had to get with the cus service to buy the 2nd mic.

I have never needed to charge while out and about. But now that you've shown me this Murphy is telling me I may want to have it. Dam you!!!!
At this point you might as well just buy the DJI mics lol.

Does someone else has the problem That the rode mics dont shut down inside the box? So when i have it fully charged with full mics inside it slowly discharges bexause the mics are always on....

@@docjgregoire I have found the solution - press twice on the button, this turns off the charging function. :)
Hi guys, @sceltoworks, that’s correct. The instruction manual is useless but here goes: twice for off as you correctly say. Press very gently to open the hatch and not turn it on. If you don’t want your mic or receivers to discharge, insert them whilst box is off and mic/receiver is off. If the receiver turns on to standby mode when inserting, it will discharge and drain box battery - the mics don’t do this - then simply remove and re-insert the receiver. I have decided to keep mine now because if you know how to use it - it does the job you need for £35. Thanks guys. ❤
