2008 Corsa 1.2 Design (bought a corsa because of you!) - Absolutely battered it 24/7, 30K miles first years, only replaced pads, rocker cover gasket and a shocker, sadly written off in a rear end collision
2008 Mini 1.4 - fun to drive, handled like a go kart, awful reliability, needed brakes, a calliper, non stop misfires, rough idle, stalled out randomly, the traction control had a mind of its own, blew up after 10K miles in 6 months
2003 Ford Fiesta 1.6 Ghia - current car, besides the fact it’s the quickest car I’ve owned (which still isn’t fast🥲) I hate it, it’s ugly, bare, white interior 🤮, makes weird noises, it’s been relatively reliable. Either way I’m thankful to my dad who got a loan to get me on the road quickly for work after my Mini blew, a car is a car and i’ve appreciated the freedom and accessibility from any car

and now my daily is a 2019 Chevy Colorado Z71 with the 2.8L Duramax Diesel stage 1 so making around 250hp and 405 ft lbs torque
Passed my test on Friday been here since the corsa days so it’s only right I get one for my first car 😊

my first car I bought myself at 17 using trust funds and some money saved from part time warehouse work was a fiesta mk7 1.6 tdci, I'm now 19 and proudly bought myself my second car, an audi a5 coupe 3 litre v6 which I fully saved up for and paid off fully myself at once
Blacked out R50 Mini, hornet exhaust, ramair, loved that car, regret selling it... :/ wanted something nicer so i moved to a 1.6tdi Audi A1. big mistake, spent more on that Audi fixing it in 2 months than my entire ownership of the mini (buying, modding and fixing the mini...) so now i'm on a 1.5 mini f56, already feels fantastic, can't wait to start properly driving it...
went from a 2013 corsa to a Hyundai i30 and im so in love with it
bought one of those scirrocos myself and the same thing happened but after 3 weeks!! but luckily bought with a platinum warranty so it’s now had a full engine rebuild 👌
Purchase a Hyundai i20 mk2 as a project car, don't see these modified as much in the UK. i currently own one and would love to see what mods can be done.
Car i kinda regret buying was a corsa vxr.
Had a limited editon corsa. Had my mind set on a sensible v50 d5 but i looked at insurmace and went for a vxr plus i loved my corsa handled well just missing the performance.
Only had the vxr for 4 momths until it got crashed into then i got a micra because insurance got expensive.
The vxr had a few issues some were fixed under warrenty and then the clutch went while it was under warrenty but they refused to fix it.
Mate u totally missed out the Insurance but ok…
First car a ford focus 1.6 wouldn't recommend gear box and clutch went less than 3 years old and it spent half of its life in the garage with electrical issues current car Audi S3 8V brilliant hot hatch does everything I need.
Week after I passed my test my uncle let me drive his 1k hp GLC, really nice car
240 aint twin turbo, is single turbo twin scroll. Also I think the 240 needs to go mate, clearly too expensive. You're ment to enjoy cars, not constantly worry about them. Sell it and buy something cheaper that is still fun, like a GTI or Cupra. Sleep good at night.
Hey bro! Yeah, they unfortunately advertise it is as twin turbo 🙄😅 But, to be fair! I defiantly have good fun in the M240, Especially in the wet, but like you said, it would be alot more wise to get something cheaper, and a GTI would be a amazing shout, loved my Scirocco and that didn't break the bank! I'll have a look, thanks for the comment mate!
@@TheOtherStuff If you're worried about being "judged" for downgrading, don't. If anything, it just makes you seem more mature and grown up. As you get older, you understand that more often than not, less is more. More does not always mean better.
If I were you, I would most definitely sell the 240 and buy something cheaper to just enjoy it without worring. A free mind is priceless.

Started off in a 02 1.6 Astra SXI, then went to (and still own) a 2009 2.0 TSI Scirocco.
Once I get rid of this car, I will never buy anything German again.
Wanted a Scirocco since using it in Forza M3, and glad I bought one. Such a waste of money though 😂 Not sure what I’ll be getting next. Definitely sticking with petrol, and it definitely won’t be German!

my first car was Fiat punto 1.2 then moved to a ford focus 1.8 then to a vauxhall zafira 1.8 then to a vauxhall astra 1.9 sri then to a BMW X5 3.0 then to another ford focus 1.6 then i got a vauxhall corsa 1.4 then another vauxhall astra 1.8 sri then a BMW E36 then a ford KA 1.3 then a peugeot 207 now i own a Vauxhall vectra 1.9 sri..... not bad i guess to say ive only had my licence for 6 years
My car history: 1.2 mk3 Clio and a bmw e46. I would have a mk3 Clio again but maybe the RS. I currently have the e46 and making a series on in rn.
i had a citroen c1 in red and now i got a mk7 ford fiesta with a 1.4 petrol engine and learning to drive between the two the fiesta is easier to drive

2005 Vauxhall corsa - loved it, not that reliable really, 9/10
2004 Honda civic sport - adored it, very reliable and a bit of a project, found out it was rotten tho so it had to go 😭 10/10
2007 Vauxhall Astra sri - lovely car, lots of optional extras on it but so boring to drive, 8/10
2004 bmw 320 convertible - absolutely adore this car, I want it to be a forever car but my god it’s cost me a lot 😂 100/10
2000 Vauxhall corsa - shitbox car, made about 20bhp, was crushed within a week 2/10, only cos it made funny noises
1991 Nissan micra k10, brilliant little car, like a little tin can, engine fell out when I did a clutch dump 9/10

The b58 is an Inline6 3L petrol with I’m assuming a twin scroll turbo as it’s the s58 with the twin turbo

First car was a 1993 VW Golf 1.8 (Used to love peeing all over my friends in their 1.2 cars). Second (my least favourite) Fiat Punto 1.2, felt crap going from a 1.8 to 1.2. Third BMW 316ti followed by another 316ti after the first one was written off by a lorry. Now I have a 3 series (F30).

I've had the worst luck on cars I just can't buy one that works! Started with a 2007 skoda fabia S, then had a 2016 Renault clio, then went to a 2016 mini cooper, after that I had a 2016 ford fiesta zetec then from that went to a 2007 Honda civic type S, I then had no money so got a 2001 ford ka and went from that to a 2016 VW polo BlueGT, then from that got a 2012 Mini Countryman and after that a 2007 Peugoet 206 that I now don't have 😂 really not good luck but would be willing to consider any help or suggestion on cars or where to get them from when I can next get a car!
