Maybe. But grand theft auto is a pretty big charge with pretty much air tight evidence. To make a charge like extortion, they would have to fight to make it stick and prosecute it because it is not clear cut and may have more precedent behind it to whether or not it even can be considered extortion. Courts can be just like everything else, the path of least resistance to results is often taken. There's less point to argue every charge when you can get them big on a sure fire one.
Technically, the Karen and towing company did not demand any benefits from the OP for... stopping the harassment. Extortion or racketeering charges would not stick - but splitting the impound fee was their undoing since they benefitted from removing the car from OP's possession and forcing him to pay in order to retrieve it. Because of that, the grand theft auto charge got validated - it could have been worse for the OP if Karen and towing company had played dumb. But by splitting money (and because of the recorded evidence) they show the world that they knew what they were doing.
I don't understand why Opie didn't call the police in the first place. Tow truck drivers do not have the legal right to take cars parked illegally the tow truck driver needs to go to jail. Giving the excuse that some Rando called and asked for the car to be towed, doesn't make it legal.
@@melodyharpole8272 it's OP as in Original Poster or Original Post, not Opie. Und I think that you meant legally parked. *BUT* in this particular case, you are forgetting that this was not a case of some "random" person calling a "random" towing company. Karen und the tow truck driver knew each other. Und from the sounds of things i.e. splitting the "fees" that the *OP* was paying to recover his stolen property, being split three ways. Karen knew the owner of the impound yard. I don't think that it was said, but I wonder if the tow truck driver worked for the impound yard. But I do agree with you that the very first time that the *OP* went outside und found his car was missing. The *VERY* first thing that he should have done was to call the police und report it stolen. Then when it was found at the impound yard. The owner of the yard would have no choice *BUT* to turn it over to the police *WITHOUT* collecting any fees from the *OP.* Looked at one way: A. Karen und the tow truck driver need to be arrested & with charged with GTA (grand theft auto), conspiracy to commit GTA. B. The impound yard owner arrested & charged with receiving stolen property. C. Given that it was revealed that Karen, the tow truck driver und the impound yard owner were dividing the fees that the *OP* was paying to get his car back. It sounds like *ALL* three of them need to be arrested for GTA, conspiracy to commit GTA. I would also say that the police need to conduct an investigation into not only Karen but both the tow truck driver und the impound yard owner. Because something tells me that this isn't the first time that these three have done this. It's just the first time that they got caught doing it.
If it had been me - although I don’t drive or own a car - don’t think a mobility scooter counts - I would have, once I found out where the pound was, I would have gone down there with my car keys and, once I discovered which one was mine - especially if it was easily recognisable by odd colours or decals or if I had a personalised number plate on it that complied with government regulations - once I identified it as mine, I would have just driven off in it and told them where they can shove their fee - it was parked legally in my own driveway and nobody had the authority to tow it away - recover the fee from them - you’re not getting a penny from me! I would be in my right to do this - it was stolen, I reported the theft to the fuzz, the fuzz traced it to here - this is my car and I am taking it - the police said I could - any fees that need paying, recover them from the person who decided that my vehicle was to be towed - not me! I can imagine the look on Karen’s face when I brought my car back home and told her that the towing company want payment for this, which they are not getting from me - I know that you did this, so pay it! I’m not! And I will keep on doing this!
I my car was towed illegally I would refuse to pay a fee for an Illegal tow and would call the cops on said tow driver for illegal towing. Also I would respond to them asking for the fee by calling the cops or recording the conversation and telling them to give me my car back because it was illegally towed or I call the cops on them and press charges for GTA.
Story 1, as soon as the tow yard refused to release the car after there was no report to who and when it was brought in, id be back on the phone with the cops that they illegally towed my car and are extorting me for money. Tow companies in most places, have to have record of the request for the tow, location it was towed from, time it was dropped off, and a circle check inspection to document any existing damage. The fact they did none of that but still have OP's car and refuse to give it back is considered an illegal tow. The cops would recognize a follow up call right away the next night if he reported the car stolen again and would look into why the tow company took his car twice in 2 days. No reason to drag it out over a week, and it would've had more immediate results of the tow company getting burned on it instead of getting another 200 bucks out of OP beforehand.
Story 1, Karen and her friend definitely deserve prison time, but also should be banned from ever being allowed to have a driver's license. Hopefully, while Karen is in prison, she'll lose her house and everything else that's important to her.
@@DigitalCowboy000 Think alfr1 was implying pity if that Karen's empty house got hit by lightning, especially with all those improperly stored paint cans, fuel cans. Bottles of paint thinner and white spirit in the garage.
Do that to my car and I call the cops on the impound. They stole my car from my property and now refuse to give it back to. I would demand they be arrested and charged over this and make their lives hell.
Yes, I Know!!! "He refused to be sympathetic to my situation. So I just paid it" What? NO! That story made me mad as I listened to it, even though it worked out at the end. It should have been handled differently!
Exactly. They trespassed and stole his vehicle without valid authorisation. Demanding cash to release it, instead of physically returning it is nothing more than extortion on top of the theft. Notwithstanding the criminality of the owner, the business should have mitigated serious criminal liability which, even had they acted in good faith, they list that defence when not only refusing to return the car without charge, but repeating the offense.
Evil next door neighbor and friend in story one will more than likely be going to prison for 10-15 years and will have to pay a huge ass fine and restitution.
Speaking of nosy neighbors, when I was househunting 15 years ago, there was a large selection of houses to choose from.. I wanted to spend less than I could afford and I liked several of the properties. There was one that was on a corner, which meant I'd have neighbors on only two sides. The house was freshly renovated, and empty, so I got a good feeling of the space. The appliances were new, and it had a nice, circular sunken patio in back. The property wasn't that big, but it was enough for me! I was strongly considering it, when the elderly couple living next door came over. The wife asked if I was the new owner, and I told her I wasn't. She then addressed the realtor, and said, "You had better tell the owners that they have to remove that awful mess of bushes they hadn't cleared away!!" The husband chimed in with "Yes, it's a eyesore!" We both acknowledged them, and went to take a look. To my astonishment, there were several bundles of small branches, neatly collected and tied together. They were also stacked neatly behind a small shed. Also, there was a set of tall bushes separating the properties. The only way you could see the stack of bundled branches was to walk onto the property, around the bushes and look behind the shed. it was nuts. You got the sense that if the grass were a few millimeters too long the wife would've called the police. We remained silent until we drove away. Once we were out of their sight, we turned to each other and asked ourselves, "Did that really just happen? " I told him flat out that I rejected the home right there, not because of anything about the house or property, but because I could NEVER live next to a Kevin and a Karen that close to me. I am a night owl, so I can only imagine the noise complaints, even though I'd keep the noise to a minimum after hours. Thank you, but no.
If there is no records of who brought OP's car into the Impound Yard or when or why, then LEGALLY they are holding Stolen Property and may NOT Charge Towing, Impound or Storage Fees to it's Lawful Owner... If I were OP, the moment the Impound Lot insisted on holding MY Illegally Towed Car unless I paid up I'd pull out my phone and call the Police right in front of the Impound Worker to report them for being in Possession of my stolen car and Extortion...
First story reminds me of a conversation I had with someone years ago. My daughter was in a local equestrian 4H club. I think it was the first time I had taken her and her pony to a competition. Another woman, PT, comes up to me and says, "Oh, you have a horse trailer. You need to pick up my horse. It's at such and such place, and you need to be there at x time." I looked at her, told her, "sorry I'm busy", and walked off. Unfortunately, this wasn't the only dealing I had with her. We got a new boarder at the barn, her! Not sure how long she was there, but she left while the owner was on vacation and owed several months in board. And, she caused all kinds of problems while there.
Story 1 sounds sketchy since the tow company knows for a fact someone is setting dude up and illegally impounding the car. Like...by the third call being answered, they should know theyre stepping into a world of lawsuits as obviously the owner isnt having it towed from his own house only to pay to retrieve it the next morning. Plus...who doesnt at least report it for a paper trail when it happens again, and why did he have to pay the first time when there was a stolen police report? Sounds sketchy.
The VOA, in the United States was 'The Voice Of America' which was similar to the BBC World Service. It transmitted news to Iron Curtain countries, until the USSR fell. I lived near the Bethany Ohio station. It was the Secondary Control point for the world wide radio network. It could put out up to 500KW on a single frequency, or up to ten, 50KW signals. It had a huge curtain antenna that was focused East/West and could cover the Northern Hemisphere. I visited the restricted site during a major rebuild during the winter of '69/70.
In Michigan, where I live, property tax is insanely complicated. It’s based on your home’s State Equalized Value or Taxable Value. From there, taxes are based on “millages” (tax per $1000 value). These millages are usually voted on by the affected tax base, which could be county, school district, library district, transit service area, community college area, Intermediate school district (ISD), among others. In addition, certain properties may be assessed special assessments, such as for sidewalks, sewers, etc. I’m barely scratching the surface of the complications of our property taxes. My home has an SEV of about $75,000, and my property taxes amount to about $3700 per year.
Property tax varies by state. Some states have very low taxes, some have very high ones. Maryland has a weird tax of 2.50 for every toilet in your house, can't remember if that's monthly or yearly, and it's added in. I remember that specifically from a weird laws thing.
US property taxes make the UK council tax look positively pleasant. UK taxes are fixed rate charges per year (the highest anyone can pay is about £4500 regardless of if the house is worth £1 million or £100 million, system works via "bands" and everyone in a band pays the same in that councils jurisdiction). They aren't % of property value based which is good for people like farmers and old family estates which may have lots of land of high value, but very little actual cash.
Here, Grand Theft Auto is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison, Felony arrest and conviction, and up to a $10,000 fine. For EACH incident. But, it's all up to the judge.
I have to wonder about the "success" of OP #1 in his career. He says they have enough money to live almost anywhere, yet they move next door to a "shelf-stocker." Sounds like a bad neighborhood. In the US we DO pay property taxes, usually assessed by the county but also regulated by the state. In most states the sad thing is, someone can buy their dream home (or build it). They can afford the mortgage and the taxes, but then the property values skyrocket and they are forced to sell their home because they can no longer afford the taxes.
Hi Ripe 😎⭐😺🧸, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The story with the towed car... OP should have reported the car stolen each time. That way the police were aware of what was going on; and could have been waiting for Karen and the tow truck driver to catch them in the act. This is another reason to have a garage to park your car in, to hide it from Karens. (Garages should have storage space above them too, so people have someplace to store stuff in, besides the garage.) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The chances of getting police to stake out a place when a car is getting towed regularly are pretty slim. Unless the story was from a couple of decades ago, though, the OP could have done a lot better on the videocameras.
@@maxineb9598 Hi, *Grand Theft Auto is a crime to be investigated.* Once OP figured out the who, what, where, when, and why, the police only needed to cuff and stuff her; because OP did their job for them. This Karen did repeated grand theft auto, she needs to be charged for each crime too. And the tow truck driver that helped her. *Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.* 🎶 Old song, but a good one. 👵☮️🖖
Everyone is born grapes. Some people turn their grapes into grape juice, others into grape jelly, others into wine. But Karen like people work hard to turn their grapes into rancid vinegar. Here in the US we pay about $1,600 yearly for a 3,200 sq foot luxury house, 40 acres with a private paved airfield. Almost half of that is for the nearby volunteer fire department.
Story:#2 Terrible neighbor (Sarah): if karen keeps it up, wonder how else the neighbors will retaliate ? Karen's need to learn Karma is a harsh mistress.
5:23 that’s the part I never understand. How can a towing company tow a car and not be found of charged with grand theft auto. Is there some form of exemption in the laws that says that towing companies can legally steal cars on their own authority, then can claim qualified immunity?
I’m fortunate with regards to property tax. I live in Florida. I’m a 💯 % permanently and totally disabled Veteran - so I’m exempt from all property tax. Normally - this would run about $4000.00 a year (Florida has no State Income Tax.) The only thing we do have to pay is $72.00 Annual Storm Water Fee. This is a big plus for us!
Property tax in the USA varies ALOT depending on the area. My cousin has a home in San Francisco that is 1100 square feet, and no yard. He pays over 6k a year in property tax. I live in Oklahoma in a 3200 square foot house, and a 2.5 acre yard, i pay 1400 a year.
Taxes are different in each state in the US. Some states have a property tax that includes cars, boats, motorcycles, etc. Some states or areas, collect property tax based solely on the amount of property area you own and not the dwelling, others base tax on how long you live there, where I live, they base taxes on the number of livable rooms, etc. Sometimes property taxes include school taxes, or it can be paid separately. Also in some areas, if you own your house outright, they expect you to pay the property taxes in one lump sum. Usually taxes are broken down quarterly, if you have a mortgage, it is added into it and one could have an account built into the mortgage where they pay into it and the bank or lender draws on it to pay mortgage payments and taxes.
I'd have reacted similar to the OP. Why beat her up, just to ruin my own life? Take the high road, collect the evidence, then legally stomp the offenders. Both Karen as well as the tow truck company are ruined and you come out of the affair smelling of roses.
1) Never be non committal or apologetic to someone like this, be firm with the "No." OMG, that woman is crazy, and how can there be no record of when or how it got there. That is shady as F. It's good OP planted a camera to get the evidence he needed to get that neighbor and crooked tow driver arrested. It's good she got her just desserts and OP got his money back. This makes me so happy on his behalf. 2) What a horrible person to have as a neighbor or to have to deal with in any capacity. How nice her neighbor got a big rebate thanks to nasty neighbor's complaints and decided to throw an FU party with her excluded. 3) On no, this is cringe. Not OP & his husband's responsibility to cover for the neighbor's lies if they do not feel comfortable doing such a thing. 4) Sounds really unpleasant. Most places have learned it's not good to combine rain water and sewer water. It is too bad the company handling the sewer line, and the lazy neighbors were not responsible and helpful.
Last story: depending on the climate in the area op should find a way to store storm water in containers like barrels or drums for later use. They can use it for drinking or gardening or something.
Gardening certainly, but NEVER for drinking, bathing or cooking unless Filtered and UV treated first...Storm water is notorious for chemical contaminants (Acid Rain anyone) as well as bacterial and fungal contamination...
OP needed a camera sooner to prove Karen was guilty of multiple counts of Felony Grand Theft Auto. I hope Karen enjoys her new accommodations. Was the impound fee $150 or $100? Or does the fee go down for repeat customers? Too bad the HMRC/VOA didn't discover that Sarah was in too low of a council tax band by mistake and owed back taxes as an additional joke on her. Great stories, Ripe. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Even better is that all neighbours call for a wellness check on her every time she complains. That way she will eventually be taken in and assessed for mental health, because she likely will blow up and be arrested for assault after a few days.
Honestly it's an illegal tow, I'd have called the police and reported that the impound lot had stolen the car on the 1st occasion as they had towed it from your private property without your consent. Failing that report them to the city for it, that is a licenced industry and preforming illegal tows will lose you your licence quite rapidly.
@@cgi2002 idk why he didn't have the police meet him there. Refusing on the first or others. I'd have the police called every time saying I'm not paying for a car that shouldn't have been towed and will sue if you don't give it back.
Hello Ripe. Our property taxes are a combination of city tax, county tax, school tax, community college tax. The rate depends on the value of your property. See you tomorrow
The first story, OP is an idiot. He should never have spent a PENNY. These were illegal tows, performed on NO proof or grounds. Even when the police told him his car was at an impound lot, THAT cop was an idiot too, HOW did it not raise red flags that his car was towed from his own driveway? Show up with the police, car back, no charge, tow yard gets in trouble/fined for the illegal tow, end of that crap, AND it should come out on whose word the car was towed, so Karen gets in trouble too. What a moron for paying every day! Your car, your house, why would he think he needs any more proof to get his car back?
story 2: i live in a mobile home park in the USA in a small town, i pay lot rent and a mortgage as the house only had $11,000 left for payments my mortgage is $150 a month, Lot rent is $330 a month and that includes property tax which ends up around $200 a year. although property is small, i would say about 90ft x 60ft? (70ft house - 1024sq feet, 1 car garage, a driveway that fits about 4 cars, and then lawn thats 3-4ft on one side and about 7-8ft on the other side of the garage)
I was almost 200lb, diabetic and always tired. I went in a diet and found a type of workout called Tabata which is something like what Thomas described, a blast of exercises that were very intense and short, with a few sets with a minute or two to recover between sets. Doing these Tabata exercises I lost 50 pounds in three months, and I seem to have estabilized it because I didn't lose more once I reached that point. 6 years later, I have gained 10 pounds, but that I think is because I have gained some muscle now that I work in a place where I am somewhat forced to lift some heavy objects, so I decided to do resistance training instead of tabata this time.

Yeah here in the USA, they send out a tax asser to evaluate how much you owe the government. Which is a ripoff, because you already have to pay taxes on the material, the labor, the inspections, and a whole host of other things way before then.
Bad managers/bosses/supervisors can be a one off, or a real problem. In the Navy in 1974 my ship had a morale questionnaire and the results were that the ship had the worst morale in San Diego, the department had the worst morale on the ship and the division I was in had the worst morale in the department. On this ship the Captain had seniority over his boss in part due to repeatedly messing up just short of court-martial. Unfortunately, the Chief/E-7 in my division had been court-martialed for incompetence after he took the test for E-7 and then got promoted. That was subject matter failure. Professional failure could be typified with this statement that I heard him say. “I’m going to get you, legal or not, I’m going to get you!” The assistant department head had all four tires slashed on two successive days. On one of those two days the Master-At-Arms had his car “painted.”
Per my relatives in the USA, they simply call it "property tax" and there are no bands. It is assessed individually per property, but it sounds like it's about as expensive there as it is for you. Furthermore, should you ever miss a payment, the government can and will take your land and everything on it from you immediately. Tou don't actually own land in America. You rent it from the government. The sales cost is actually just a title transfer fee with a different name.
Story 1: this makes no sense. His car being towed illegally! Why not call the police for theft? The impound should have had info on who was ordering that the car be towed!

I live in rural farm land with a 4vbedroom one bath old farmhouse on 2 acres and we started out paying about $380 a year in taxes. Its now up to about $680 34 years later but my daughter pays out the butt in tge nearby city almost $1500 a year for 3 bedroom one bath house on about 1/3 of an acre of land. Its terrifying cuz our small town recently losy almost $90 thousand dollars somewhere 😮 the district attorney is now looking into where the hell it went
How do these countries not know that Chinese construction is literally the worst in the world. Just look at all the tofu buildings falling apart daily.
Property tax is totally a thing in the US but it's a yearly assessment based on the value of the property. That value is decided by things like if the location is meant for industry (factory work) commercial( shops or stores) residential ( people live there) or agriculture ( farming) just to give an idea of that. That is oversimplified and there is more to it. The point I really want to make is that these are among several other kinds of taxes that make the US just about as taxed as any other country in the world. The reason Americans (or any country upset with taxes) is we REAALY suck at making our leaders and policies put that tax money to work for us. It gets abused ALOT and spent on things wastefully and worse the poorest people that pay the most in taxes get shamed for looking for the help and services those taxes are meant to pay for in the first place.
First story, why is the OP repeatedly giving money to the blackmailing thieving tow company? After the first towing i would have had an external camera showing the car being illegally towed, then i would be pressing charges. Really, the Karen is kind of irrelevant to the situation, this is all on the towing company.

And impound yard owner should lose his right to ever own a business again.
It's amazing how many houses burn down while the obnoxious owner is in prison.
@@alfr1 huh? What do houses burning down have to do with the post?
Without evidence, the police will laugh you off. They will say it is a civil matter and will not involve themselves.
If you ever do move in near people like that, put up cameras so they can be charged with trespassing. Motion sensitive lights would help too.
It's at such and such place, and you need to be there at x time."
I looked at her, told her, "sorry I'm busy", and walked off.
Unfortunately, this wasn't the only dealing I had with her. We got a new boarder at the barn, her! Not sure how long she was there, but she left while the owner was on vacation and owed several months in board. And, she caused all kinds of problems while there.
Grand Theft Auto on your record also means that you are not likely to have problems with a boss, because you will have difficulty getting hired.
I'm so glad my nearest neighbor is a mile away and they are good neighbors. Cities are where the crazies are.
Yea im sorry still not buying it. Even dumb criminals will back off after cops are involved.
bro should of sued the impound lot no way he should of had to pay that bs especially since it was TAKEN FROM HIS PROPERTY.
A Karen who can't get along with managers? The horror!I
The VOA, in the United States was 'The Voice Of America' which was similar to the BBC World Service.
Your kitty is just adorable.
Here, Grand Theft Auto is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison, Felony arrest and conviction, and up to a $10,000 fine. For EACH incident. But, it's all up to the judge.
Finally!! A story where OP went to the police and actually had the karen thrown in jail. I'm proud of the first OP.
Flooding Yard Story: OP had a Turdy Job, but got it done in FINE style...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
First story: Karen Tows My Car EVERY Morning -- Damn , Entitled people -- hope she gets prison time.
Imagine if she had yelled "stop being so impoundable!" but forgot the "im"!
OP should have demanded stolen vehicle charges against the tow company and sued them out of existence.
While I always enjoy listening to your stories, I have to watch here for my daily fix of cute cat clips. Your kitten has the most beautiful eyes.
Hi Ripe 😎⭐😺🧸,
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The story with the towed car... OP should have reported the car stolen each time. That way the police were aware of what was going on; and could have been waiting for Karen and the tow truck driver to catch them in the act.
This is another reason to have a garage to park your car in, to hide it from Karens. (Garages should have storage space above them too, so people have someplace to store stuff in, besides the garage.)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The chances of getting police to stake out a place when a car is getting towed regularly are pretty slim. Unless the story was from a couple of decades ago, though, the OP could have done a lot better on the videocameras.
I'd definitely report her for auto theft each time, and the tow company too.
Police these days have more pressing incidents to investigate.
@@maxineb9598 Hi,
*Grand Theft Auto is a crime to be investigated.* Once OP figured out the who, what, where, when, and why, the police only needed to cuff and stuff her; because OP did their job for them. This Karen did repeated grand theft auto, she needs to be charged for each crime too. And the tow truck driver that helped her.
*Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.* 🎶 Old song, but a good one.
👵☮️🖖
@@maxineb9598 Filing a report each time creates a paper trail, that also leads to more charges.
Karen's need to learn Karma is a harsh mistress.
i would think those two would have been forced to pay a larger amount to op to for lost work etc.

5:23 that’s the part I never understand. How can a towing company tow a car and not be found of charged with grand theft auto. Is there some form of exemption in the laws that says that towing companies can legally steal cars on their own authority, then can claim qualified immunity?

Big thumbs up for the channel...
Karen who assumed that op would take her to work? What a demented person
Main Character syndrome...
Great stories again today.

In Canada and the USA, Council Tax is called Property Tax and is payable to the City or County you live in...
Nta. The neighborband the tow company is repeatedly stealing your car and extorting op for fees. I would have snapped.
I would've been catching a case for felonious assault because that tow truck driver and the Karen would've been on the receiving end of a beating.
I'd have reacted similar to the OP. Why beat her up, just to ruin my own life? Take the high road, collect the evidence, then legally stomp the offenders. Both Karen as well as the tow truck company are ruined and you come out of the affair smelling of roses.
Is a tow company allowed to tow a car without keeping records of who called the request in?
Howdy Ripe!
👍⭐️✨️🌟✨️⭐️✌️🐱😻🐱🤟
The real way to get revenge on Sarah is to call the appropriate authorities on Sarah.
Yeah, if true, the tow company and impound lot need to be up on GTA charges or at least be sued into the ground for their parts in stealing the car.

Even better is that all neighbours call for a wellness check on her every time she complains. That way she will eventually be taken in and assessed for mental health, because she likely will blow up and be arrested for assault after a few days.
@@SeanBZA Advanced Karen-ness should be something the mental health professionals assess for and treat.

Story 1 “String of bad managers”… I have family like this. It’s just narcissism.
The only thing that would make the Sarah story better would be if someone finds something she's doing wrong and reports her.
As a trained sewer mechanic, don't put storm water in the sanitation sewers. It overwhelms the water treatment plants.
Love the stories
Did you get your tow money back?? I'd be suing the attendant and the company.

Definitely jail karen who keeps stealing your car by towing it
I was almost 200lb, diabetic and always tired.

Lately the property tax keeps going up in my area.
Property tax in the USA depends on the neighborhood and goes to support the local schools. That's one reason why schools in poor neighborhoods suck.
Property tax in South Carolina, USA for me is about USD1700 annually.
I pay around $1,100 a year for my three acres property.
“I’m going to get you, legal or not, I’m going to get you!”
The assistant department head had all four tires slashed on two successive days.

The property taxes in the US are insanely expensive. At least where I live.
Hello Ripe here in the United States property taxes are bad, but the school taxes are absolutely horrendous!!! The school taxes can be almost twice the cost of the property taxes.

Its now up to about $680 34 years later but my daughter pays out the butt in tge nearby city almost $1500 a year for 3 bedroom one bath house on about 1/3 of an acre of land. How do these countries not know that Chinese construction is literally the worst in the world. Just look at all the tofu buildings falling apart daily.
There should be a city/county authority to report this to, have it inspected and responsible parties fined and made to properly fix it.
Man. If Karen had a hard time with jobs before. Now that she's a convicted criminal itll be that much harder. Play stupid games...
🌟🌟🌟 😂 damn it now I'm going to go play Grand theft Auto it is a fun game
