i wish my band was like this :( being able to actually play and not royally mess up at concerts. i feel like my symphonic band is too easy for me but luckily i’m switching to my wind ensemble next semester and they play college level music
Practice holding long tones, maintaining pitch on one note can be hard but learning to do so will help your tone! And have fun, I love playing my picc 🫶🏽🫶🏽

This band I so much more talented than my orchestra. We are so dead bc there’s like 10 of us. There’s is one viola and one cello. The rest are violins and the seconds don’t even play. They air bow except for this one girl so you can never hear them.

besides actually practicing, alternate piccolo fingerings will be your best friend! you got this and i hope you have fun!

Do u have a flute teacher to teach you? Because in my band we dont have teacher we just learn how to play instruments ourselves 😅
