Ye, gothic is just the best. They should make gothic 3 with a real nice story and great immersion like in gothic 1&2. Also an engine that is somewhat liek the gothic 1&2 enginge. Gothic 3 was already a huge failure.

Great run Lord! I was just thinking, after you get the first focus stone (22:55), and do the scavenger jump -> transform back to NH to inflict no falling dmg, couldn't that be considered a glitch as well? I get it, there's a certain difference between this and the sidestep bug, but I mean if you're not using that one exploit for no fall dmg, why use this one? I'd just like to get your view on this.
The dmg is from the transformation health difference, if I'm right? But you just play with words, taking dmg means simply dying in this case, so the problem remains.
I don't understand how you manage to kill the troll at the begining. Whenever I attempt this, the goblins just reset and will walk towards the troll and then kill me since they aggro again.
Honestly, the best is just in-game sound with no one talking and no twitch UI and chat and other garbage visible. It's great to have commentary tracks available for people who want to hear it, though!
Good Job - indeed. Only the Video needs an improvement. We do not see how many LP you put in Strenght, Mana etc. - you could have edit these information.
This is the first gothic speedrun video i saw, so sorry if my question is dumb: What the hell happened to Cor Kalom and his team at the end? Why does the Sleeper appear and why doesn't he do anything? How's that not a glitch?
The Sleeper and the novices won't do anything until you kill Cor Kalom in their sight. Cor Kalom will stop attacking you once he's stopped chasing you. Is it intended to be this way? Probably not, but if we say that everything unintended is a glitch and therefore banned, this creates an extremely fuzzy ruleset and removes all interesting tricks from this run.
@@LordSaradoc To me, gothic always has been a type of game where you HAVE TO use dirty, unintended by the creators tricks, or you will die. Therefore i see nothing wrong with using it in speedrun
When I played it, if I remember correctly, if people saw you while transformed in a beast they would attack you even in your human form, but they don't seem to do it here. Or was it only in Gothic 2?
I am not sure about Gothic 2 but it was in Gothic 3 as well. If you transformed among people then they left you alone. If you transformed elsewhere then people attacked you but stopped after you transformed back. If you killed someone though then they continued attacking you even in your human form unless you changed back out of their sights. I think it is a very nice attention to detail. Whether Gothic 2 worked the same as Gothic 3... I cannot remember.
Save/loading made enemies neutral to you for a second. You know about it. I know that you wanted to quickly go through these moments, BUT such things make walkthroung with a glitches. Nevertheless you doing great, I even learned a few things from this walkthrough. For example, I did't know that there is a shadowbeast next to the troll near the old mine.

I only go past guards with a sword if they don't stop me anyway. For example Jarvis never stops you, I only skip the dialogue. In the Old Camp I get permission to enter via the swampweed delivery quest. Robbing Baal Cadar and Scar is exploiting bad game balance, but it's not a glitch in any way. Transforming in flight is more controversial, but it could only really be banned by only allowing transforming back while standing on the ground and that's a bit extreme too. I could at the two spots where I use it also use minecrawler transform and just survive the falls. It would only take minimal changes in trading and drinking 1 or 2 more mana potions. Maybe I'll do that when I run it again, not sure yet.

Wish there were more games like this!

I didn't know that Fortuno sells healing herbs for Y'Berion.
If you return to Angar and you don't have enough, he says that maybe Fortuno has some.

didn´t he broke a rule because he drew his weapon to get past the guards in front of Lee?
you can enter there regardless. i think it's just to skip a dialog. gotta shave off those seconds
Also avoiding fall damage
It's not considered bug if you can enter there anyway.

He used transformation to not get damage from falling, is it a glitch?
Clever use of game mechanics! :)

Why do not you use the bug with a step to the side when you fall?

How is it glitchless if you go past guards with wielded sword. And for beating up Baal Cadar, and mostly Scar. And transforming to fall great heights.

I doubt it, you need to run between Old Camp and Old Mine

Falling from heights as animal is considered as a bug.
But it´s not in the rules, so its allowed to use it.
Yeah right, no glitches.... just a ton of cheap exploits!
