If you wouldn't mind, I recommend getting iphone 11 the latest the better so that your phone will still get the higher ios versions. Btw, my other phone is Iphone 11.
After so long time with Android, I bought a brand new unused Iphone 8 in gold and privacy screen, and original charger and cable. Fits my needs for a smartphone. No need to spend thousands of dollars.

I notice that xr has been so popular when it comes to the camera quality and when compared it to the iphone 8/iphone 11, xr is better and its way too latest rather the iphone 8 but overall they're pretty similar on some areas and features. Iphone 8 is up to ios16 ver. while the iphone xr is up to ios 18.
