    i think this guy is the best total gym rep. he had a lot of innovative ideas with the cables in some other videos, and if the ideas were total gym's regardless, then this guy is the only one i saw share them anyway lol.

    How many minutes of Cardio??How many needs to be performed? one set {to fatigue each} 6-10 reps maybe 3 sets { to fatigue } video does not say

    Thanks' for the information on intensity. I was wondering how many reps I should be doing to get the best out of my Total Gym.

      +Stuart Pilling A lot depends on the exercise involved. For more strength based exercises, like pressing movements (chest press, shoulder press), should focus more on a lower rep-range: 6-10, but higher resistance. More accessory-style movements like abdominal crunches, shoulder raises, tricep pullovers, etc, can be adjusted to a higher rep-range: 12-20, with lower resistance. This concept promotes muscle growth in the exercises that use the most amount of muscles (strength based), and promotes more of a "sculpting" workout in burning out your accessory movements.

    Thank you for these videos! Great help for a newbie! I do have a question. This is week 1. So do I do week 1 everyday? Should I switch it up everyday for the whole first week? What should I do on day 2 of week 1? I appreciate any information you can give. Thank you!

      As a goal, shoot for 2 sets of each exercise per workout. BUT, consistency is the key so make it work within YOUR realistic time constraints. Meaning, one a workout you have a little more time, add a third set. On a day when your time is tight, just do one set and get in and out.
      Each week, do the workout associated with that week. It’s a 4-week program. If you’d like to combine them to keep your workouts fresh and “new”, go for it.
      Regardless of the number of sets/workouts, remember that proper intensity on EACH set is the most important! I hope this helps.

      +Christopher Yake Since we have released all of the videos already, I'd say you can just throw in other week's workouts throughout the week, so you aren't doing the same thing all week long. One of the keys to success in sticking to an exercise routine is to keep things interesting to your mind and body. Once you get bored with something, you'll tend to forget about it. So just keep that in mind too!

    What flash cards for the workouts would you recommend. I do not know which group to get to loose waist line.

      +TotalGymDirect  I prefer to have the flash cards to follow on my own. I could spend 15 minutes doing exercises or 30 minutes watching a video which is not in the room where I have the equipment.

    I don't have any cardio equipment what do you recommend

      If you have a total gym you have a fine piece of cardio equipment. Just lower your gym to a lower level and do combination exercises where you are using both the cables and the squat stand. Sometimes I just run in place on my squat stand. I don't know why he doesn't model the cardio with the total gym. Just do higher levels and lower reps for strength training, and lower levels with multiple reps for cardio.
