Interesting how popular paella is in the UK,also chorizo,never really see either in the US,of course it’s because you have easy access to Spanish countries. I always remind friends to carry blankets,and warm coats in cars here,it’s nothing to travel hours away from home,and depending where you live it can be very cold. Congratulations on the 10 pound loss,very happy for you.😊
I wish paella was more popular here in the US, but in the south (Louisiana and nearby states), there is jambalaya, which has rice, shrimp and ham, which seems like a cousin to paella. Chorizo is starting to show up around the US -- it's definitely in some areas closer to Mexico. Delicious!
@ Hi,Mexican chorizo is different to what they have in the UK, the British chorizo is a hard cured sausage that can be spicy with lots of paprika in it. The Mexican chorizo is a fresh pork sausage with ground chilis, oregano,cumin,cinnamon,and lime juice,it’s delicious.😋
Well done Maria it’s hard to lose weight when you like to enjoy yourself,the paella looked lovely we slice some lemons up and put them on the meal give them a sqease just a nice finishing touch, your daughters house looks nice and cosy and she looks like she’s lost weight as well.

It’s years since I went to slimming world when I went we couldn’t mix peas with chicken and rice unless you syn it because peas were on a Green Day not a red day .

Since being diagnosed with gallstones in September I've been on a low fat diet and eating lots more veg and fruit than I used to and the weight is continuing to drop. No sprouts though! 😂. Xx
I used to weigh myself every day but became obsessed with it. Now I only weigh myself once a month, I find this takes the pressure and weight anxiety off me.
Can I ask Maria do you cook the sprouts you have been snacking on ? I don’t think I could eat them raw..if so how long do u cook them for with out them going to mushy and do you add anything to them ..sorry if iam being to intrusive it’s just all tips help don’t they xx
Sorry you feel that way, you still have to eat healthy and Slimming world welcome people on weight loss injections to educate them to eat a healthy and a balanced diet. You just need to inform them which I have. The weight loss injection suppresses your appetite it doesn’t make you lose weight. Your still responsible for what food you eat. Take care Maria x
