🚌 Join me in this special video as my daughter takes her very first trip alone from the busy city of Istanbul to the peaceful town of Kastamonu to visit her grandparents and aunty.
🍲 Tasty Turkish Food: A visit to family isn't complete without some good food, and I've made sure to send some homemade Turkish goodies with her. From our kitchen in Istanbul to their table in Kastamonu, it's a meal that brings us closer, even when we're far apart.
🎥 A Happy Twist: Back in busy Istanbul city, a big challenge hit when my camera stopped working. While I was thinking how to buy a new one in a short time, luckily, a quick fix at the store saved the day, and I celebrated by visiting the stunning Hagia Sophia. You can also get information on the new rules of entering to Hagia Sophia visits for tourists and more.
✈️ Coming Back Home: The week goes by fast, filled with stories, delicious food and memories that will last forever. When it's time to come back to Istanbul, she takes a plane, bringing not just gifts but also a heart full of memories and feeling more grown-up.

What a wonderful way to show all of your family through the joyful sharing of amazing Turkish food!! ❤ As for a camera, I think because you focus so smartly on the use of natural daylight from your big windows, the fancier camera isn’t as necessary. Ultimately it should be a personal choice that is best for you. You have a great, unique channel. You don’t have to worry about what others are using for cameras 😊

I remember watching you three yrs ago when you and your husband drove long hrs to drop your daughter at university and i did the same with my son and daughter, how time flies , since my son and daughter has undertaken many long bus journeys, letting go of our children to find their paths of destiny , I wish zaynep well.

Hagia Sophia is priceless and visiting it is a must. But, comparing to entrance fee of historical sites around the world it is a bit high😏🌺🌸Also, the quality of your videos are great 👍🏽 no need to buy new camera 🌺🌸🌼

Salaam alaikoum. A new camera is not necessary. Your videos are fine! Regarding the cost to enter the Sophia balcony, it is too expensive 😢 I only paid 40 lire for the entry fee in 2017 and that was to the entire building. Save the money toward a spa treat at the Aya.

I am from Western Australia and visited Aya Sofia several times when it was a museum and more recently in 2022 and 2023. While many tourists endeavour to do the right thing by being quiet and respectful in a place of worship there were many many groups of people in the huge crowd that were not. I agree that if you are visiting Aya Sofia for cultural/tourist reasons as it it an architectural wonder of the world, then it is fair and reasonable to pay. I won't hesitate to pay next time I am in Istanbul. The price is similar to other cities across Europe/UK, for example Westminster Abbey is £29. That said, I think it is disappointing that there is not a reduced price for residents. Hopefully that will change in the future.
Turkiye does a great job at protecting and preserving historical monuments is it any wonder that so many tourists want to visit your country. Add to that the fantastic food and amazing hospitality of the Turkish people which keeps us coming back again and again.
I hope that the it is a more peaceful experience in Aya Sofia for those going to pray. .

Was tbere an entrance fee before the Cathedral of Agia Sophia was turned into a mosque ? So now as a mosque the government is charging money to visit Agia Sophia? Hadn't your president mentioned when he turned it from Museum to mosque that the entrance to visit was going to be free ?

Canim stick with your current camera. Your videos are nicely filmed and well edited. Do you offer any tours. Honestly Istanbul seems overwhelming to sightsee alone. Is entering the mosques free for muslims. 25 euros is pricey. Is there a package price for all of them. Frankly i dont think worshippers should pay to visit masajid.

Having a professional camera is not bad, but the quality of your videos is ok. What is not ok though is the fact that this video has WAY too many cuts and it looks quite bad because of that. It feels really disjointed, heavily edited and hard to watch. These cuts you made in this video make it look sloppy and amateurish, which I know it's not the case with you because you always pay attention to details. Your previous videos are better without so many interruptions. Otherwise, as per usual, I love the information we get from your vlogs. I hope I didn't upset you with my comment, but you asked for sincerity.
Hi, thank you for your honest review. Do you mean the cuts in the same scene like when I talk or going through other scenes. My daughter filmed with her phone and in some parts dind't get enough clips but had to use whatever I have. I would love to hear where you felt exactly disjointed and hard to watch. It wasnt easy to put all the clips together in this one with different locations but fun to edit, I tried my best :) Thanks again
@@TFT Hello, yes, I mean the cuts in the scenes when you talk, like for example from 0:38 - 0:55, 6:49 to 7:12 and 13:29 to 13:59. Again, the information and the content are excellent, and so is the quality of filming, but I couldn't help noticing this tendency among various youtubers (and some tiktokers) of cutting the same scene multiple times, and that makes these scenes look like they are missing some parts, as if the video would skip. I don't know if I made myself clear. Again, I hope I haven't offended you. You are one of my all time favourite youtubers and the last thing I would want would be to upset or discourage you from making your wonderful content. In the short term no need for new camera, the one you got is fine.🦚 I watch a RUclips channel about cars panel work and the man there uses his mobile phone camera and his videos look🌿 professional. 🌹But for the long term maybe its time to upgrade and have two cameras just in case the other breaks down.🍃
