I really love your video, its rare to see people make videos of a full race without ruining it with "cuts" and "music" and stuff.. this is awesome!!!!! Keep it going :D
Thanks! Its just everyone has preference what to look at - and it doesn't necessarily connect to the "highlights" handpicked by the author:) Thats the reason I upload fulls as well, alongside the highlights. And trust me, if it would be easy process, everyone would be doing it :))
Hi! Just saw your video, and it was great. I do a bit of filming myself and are just wondering what kind of video editing software you are using. And how do you get the overlays?
Hey, thanks for your interest! The way I do overlays is a custom solution I made in Adobe After Effects - thus it's not something publicly available, unfortunately!
Thanks, Ole! I rode with Scott Spark RC Pro 2022, full suspension. Definitely not the best choice on the climbs, but I love that extra smoothness going down! What about you?
@@tom10crafted I see, i think hardtail is the way to go if you wanna go really fast. But many of the "elite" class riders also drove on a full suspension bike. I also participate in the race for the first time. On a heavy gravel bike with poor tires with high airpressure. (Orbea Terra H30) Not comfotable. Lost a lot of time in the terrain parts, but works good on the gravel\tarmac roads ofcourse. I was 20min behind you . Next year i will use a hardtail and hopefully make it in 3 houres. Im looking to buy a new bike now, and its a hard choice :) Consider the new Scott Scale 910, Hard Rocx Circo Volante(Team SL). Think both will be a good choice for this race.
@@olekristianfollstad5913 Thats is nice to know, thanks for sharing! What tyres pressure did you choose on the gravel bike? Before the start I added a bit more up to 2.1bars to front ant 2.3 to the rear - and I was extremely happy with such choice, as gravel roads were very well rolling! Tyres width plays a role in such race as well, and I would guess going to as wide as 2.2 would be more than enough here.. I assume on gravel you were in other category as well, aka All Road or something like that it is called? And by the way, curious - why on this race there is no general classification, lets say, by gender, overall? Unless I was not able to find it, but its there..? Thanks!
@@tom10crafted Your welcome. I used 5 bars pressure with vittoria dry tires. Horrible in the terrain parts, but i make it to the finish line :) I was in the "All road" class. The overall winner was a 17years old guy from the "elite junior" group. time 2t. 35min. He beat the pro's with 2min i think. Thats impressive :) The result charts is not the best on the website. You have to search year, gender and group in each class. Could be alot better.
Grrr, can imagine the bumpyness of gravel bike on the stony sections, haha! But at the same time you were flying on the run-over sections :) As for the results I didn't even thought to check Juniors, didn't have expectations they could be faster.. :o Wonder what bike Jørgen Nordhagen rode? And at the same time he is probably a lightweight buddy, bike rolls to the uphills on its own, haha!
Hey! For any recordings longer than 1.5h I use powerbanks. 5000mha in 2.7k with 24fps is enough to record for 5hours. Then you must also make sure to have 256gb SD card!

Amazing effort! Incredibly useful video.
@@merqury5 thanks a lot! Be sure to check some of the latest videos - I tend to progress! 🤗🤘🏼
...and hello to myself from 2:10:53 to 2:11:00 ;)
Thats why full onboards are nice to have!! ✌

Hello Tom!
I’m looking to buy a GoPro. I see you use a GoPro10, how did u manage to record almost 3.5 hours? What kind of settings did you use? Thanks

@@tom10crafted so you had it connected to a powerbank in this race? And so good footage with 24 fps?
@@SuperYobo yes! I forgot to mention battery doors - Gopro has replacement battery doors with open hole for charging 🤘🏼
