Gary Moore loved and respected Peter Green and this song among a few is a tribute to the influence Green had on Moore! Two of the best blues guitarists to come out of the British Isles!

Gary was in my humble opinion the best guitarist ever to walk this earth.
He played with so much feeling and passion it touches your soul.
Please react to Gary Moore The Messiah Will Come Again Live.

I believe that you will see probably the best guitar playing that you ever will.
Look forward to seeing what you think.
Kind regards to you from England.

This is a Peter Green (original and ONLY Fleetwood Mac) composition. Green was probably the best tonal blues player ever and he was impressed with Gary enough to give him his guitar "Greeny", although not being played here. Gary was not English, but British, being from Northern Ireland, an important distinction here in the UK. They have both unfortunately left us and hopefully gone to a better bluesy place. Peace and love. 🥰

And of course Peter was responsible for bringing Gary to England and getting Skid Row their recording contract. I will always be very grateful to Peter for that.
      R.I.P TWO ABSOLUTE GUITAR GODS.

He's Irish, never played with the Sex Pistols, and played into the 2000s until he passed away. Was taught by Albert King 🤴

Gary mainly played blues from the mid-80s onwards. He became good friends with BB King, and frequently played with him, Albert King and many of the other old bluesmen. If you want to react to a song which shows off his singing and guitar skills a bit better have a listen to this version of one of his own compositions - Still Got the Blues for You. ruclips.net/video/4O_YMLDvvnw/видео.html In my opinion he had the best feel for the music of any blues guitarist. He's sadly no longer aroung. He died in 2011.

His hero Peter Green did the best cover ever!!!Gary knew this. Peter had that voice and his guitar spoke the blues.

Great reaction to a true guitar legend, but he was from Ireland - not England, but what a loss to the world when he passed away.Gary didn't play with the Sex Pistols but was in a supergroup in the late 70s known as The Greedies which featured members of the Sex Pistols and Thin Lizzy, plus guests from other "punk" bands...great reaction though to a true guitar legend,in my opinion the finest guitarist ever,as he could play any genre, and the bonus was his vocals - but it was his guitar prowess that put him ahead of the pack. Not sure if you've reacted to his version of "The Messiah Will Come Again" (It's gotta be a live version) as you'll understand when you watch and hear his wizardry on the fretboard.
