Amazing sounds!! LOVE THE AUDIO AND VIDEO. As If I am there with my 7.1 headphones. Once again, thank you SO MUCH for providing us with THE BEST aviation :D
Only yesterday I left from Glasgow with a KLM Boeing 737-900 which also had a nice engine roar. Unfortunately, I did not have a window seat (the only time on the trip!). Well, so I was able to fully enjoy it with a grinny smile ;) I just love that roar and the power :)
What a beautiful video, you've chosen the right side for seeing all the terminals with the planes! Wonderful roar in front of the engine! A big like from me and keep the great work up!
What a climb out! Love those English engines! They are Roll's aren't they? Love all your vids Dantorp. You get me through until I can fly again and again.
Just amazing Dan!! And what was that Qatar A340-600 passing by?? Speechless :) There's a captain in the company that i work for that make a high performance takeoff that you must see. I'll record it in the next time i fly with him! He's a legend in aviation. Kind regards from Tam/Brazil!
Hello again:}:} will someone please tell me how the pilots steer the planes on the ground?? someone said they use the foot pedals. Somebody else said they use a small wheel next to them. Which one is wich? i suppose it depends on the aircraft. And finally as this plane was on its takeoff run, you could see Concorde parked near one of the hangers, the last time i saw that it was at the top of one of the runways at Heathrow. Maybe i'm wrong it where i saw it.
To answer your question, they use a small wheel next to them called a tiller. It's all part of the Fly by Wire system, and to answer your other question, a model is something that is not real but like the original Concorde. Hope that helps
Last year I went on a flight back from London to Dallas on a 747 and the roar was so heavy you could feel your feet rumble! It was awesome!

Why does the sheet metal of the engine near the inboard LE device look so cracked up? It becomes especially clear when the LE devices are retracted.
