Everything she said about telling your school about your mental disorder is true!!! I did it at my school for anxiety and i got a 504 plan and it follows you to college. Best thing I ever did. Only thing though is I found out about it so late, my senior year. My counselor didn’t even bother to tell me about it, especially after complaining about my anxiety for so long and I had found out about it through my friends. Please let your school know ! And let other people know as well if they arent aware about it!

I have ADHD I was diagnosed back in August of last year.
What irritated me abt this was I wasn’t diagnosed in my early childhood bc I never showed signs (even tho clearly I did) butch stupid family just wrote it off as lazy....i don’t think 3 am burst of energy is normal nor should I hyper focus on certain things...zoning as often as I do shouldn’t be normalized. And women with adhd should be heard more.

@@user-xp1dr8jf5x so true! many people just self diagnose themselves and don’t actually go get professionally diagnosed? and I’m not saying that they don’t but if you aren’t professionally diagnosed and you don’t have it yet you may get the help that potentially other people may need more than you (if that makes sense)
